With two 36-volt/2.6 Ah lithium-ion batteries you can mow continuously until you get the job done; the rapid recharging capabilities of the batteries (80% capacity in 30 minutes, full charge in one hour) means that you are never without power and due to the extremely quiet operating noise, even your neighbours won’t mind you mowing for extended periods. If you are cutting the grass for an hour or two you will appreciate the excellent ‘ergo-flex’ handlebars and soft-touch grips, designed to release tension and strain from the operator’s forearms and upper body; they also improve control of the mower in tight spaces. Grass-combs on the outer-edge of the 43cm cutting deck pull grass growing close to the edge of fences and borders into the path of the metal blade to leave a neat finish, equally effective whether you are working at the highest or lowest cutting heights, set between 20mm – 70mm. For storage purposes there are integrated carry-handles built into the mowing deck that ease transport around your garden and to aid storage, the handlebars will fold down on top of the Rotak 43 LI to make the most of available space.
