The Multimate hedge trimming attachment is well suited to a variety of maintenance tasks about the garden thanks to its ingenious articulating cutting blade that moves through 0° to 135°. This enables the trimming of not only vertical hedging running along borders but also growth that may be at ground level or even slightly above your head. The blade can also be attached at either 0° and 90° to increase its range of applications further still. A blade pitch of 30mm means that even mature growth can be accommodated and with a cutting bar of 51cm in length, even large jobs can be completed in good time. The gearbox is constructed in aluminium, which not only keeps the weight to a minimum but also guarantees great durability, even with regular use. A weight of only 2.2kg in combination with a comfort grip handle ensures that fatigue doesn’t become a problem.

The articulating cutting blade articulates through 12 positions from 0° to 135°, without the use of tools, and allows a variety of different trimming jobs to be completed.
It is possible to attach the blade in 2-positions (0° and 90°), allowing cutting up against a wall whilst maintaining a neutral body position.
The gearbox is made of aluminium to increase its durability and reduce the overall weight of the hedge cutter when the Multimate engine unit is attached.
