The Bertolini 403 Rotary Cultivator is an extremely robust machine that is suitable for semi-professional use, its lightweight and well-balanced design making a safe, reliable workhorse for tackling everyday jobs. Supplied with a 4.8hp Honda GX160 petrol engine and four-speed transmission (2 forward + 2 reverse) with oil-immersed gears, maximum reliability is guaranteed in all situations. The handlebars are height and width adjustable and can be reversed through 180° to facilitate the use of the optional 115cm sickle bar mower unit that is attached through a Quick-Fit coupling system, without the need of any extra tools.  A vibration-damping system is also included to assure maximum comfort during long periods of work and the handlebars can also be offset during use, avoiding the need to walk over freshly cultivated ground. The 60cm cultivation unit with 12 tines is height and width adjustable, allowing you to alter your working technique to suit different situations; an adjustable track width means that the machine is also adaptable for specialist crop spacing. The clever Motor-stop device fitted to the Bertolini 403 prevents the reverse gear from being actuated when the PTO is engaged, assuring safety, although a practical forward/reverse shuttle enables the operator to move quickly into reverse with little effort when necessary.
