The Powertrim is a sturdy, ruggedly built wheeled trimmer equipped with two large wheels that turn independently of each other, allowing it to be positioned or manoeuvred at almost any angle whilst the 56cm cutting width of the heavy duty nylon cutting line is capable of dealing with tough undergrowth such as nettles and thistles as well as long grasses. Operators are protected against flying debris by a large guard that sits behind the trimmer head and an operator presence control lever situated at the handlebars immediately stops the cutting motion when it is released. Comfort during use is assured with the fully adjustable handlebars that also collapse down for storage purposes and easy to use controls are located at the user’s fingertips. A powerful Briggs and Stratton Series 650 petrol engine drives an independent drive belt that powers the trimmer head; a plastic guard to prevent clogging from mown debris covers the belt whilst a fixed cutting height of 76mm leaves a neat finish to the cut area.
