Never before has there been such a vast selection of lawnmowers available to buy, with styles and designs that appear completely foreign from what we would have envisaged a lawnmower to be only ten years ago. Each has differing features and uses, with some being very specifically suited to certain types of lawn.
With so much choice it is wise to be cautious when deciding on which machine is best for you and your garden as not all mowers are equal, particularly in the lower price range of the market. This area is flooded with inferior quality machinery that is often a poor imitation of already established, higher-grade equipment. There is a notable difference between good value and design on a budget, and finding the right compromise is a fine art. As there are still bargains to be had, it’s worth knowing what to look out for. If you’re not sure where to start your search, take a look at our own-brand Lawnmaster lawnmowers as these offer competitive pricing alongside proven build quality.
There are two types of people in the world when it comes to gardening – those who enjoy the time they spend outside tending to their own little paradise, and those for whom it is very much a means to an end. If you’re in the latter group take a look at our range of robotic lawnmowers, designed to take almost all effort out of lawn maintenance so you can reap the benefits of a neat and tidy lawn without any of the hard work. If they’re not quite right for your garden you could always consider bribing the younger generation to mow on your behalf!
Be sure to seek advice regarding the type of mower that you buy; if your lawn is less than perfect, it will be unwise to buy a cylinder mower when you really need a four wheel rotary lawnmower and if you have a garden with mixed grass types, why-not consider a 3-in-1 style machine that can cover all bases instead of a standard rotary? Head to our advice pages if you’re still unsure what you should be looking for in a lawnmower, or you can contact us for guidance from our experienced sales team.
