There are many reasons that you may want to groom or brush your lawn. The first, and most obvious, is simply to sweep up any dead leaves, worm casts and other debris which may clutter your lawn surface in order to keep everything neat and tidy. On other occasions, however, sweeping your lawn can also help smooth the lawn surface and prevent thatch build-up by working in top dressing, or can be used to cover renovating seeds to ensure even coverage.
While such brushing can be done manually, a much quicker and more efficient option is to use your Kensington cylinder mower in conjunction with Allett’s handy lawn brush cartridge; available in three sizes (14”, 17” and 20”), the brush cassette fits quickly in place of your mower’s standard cutting unit thanks to Allett’s “Quick Cartridge” system, and allows you to sweep larger areas of lawn with the bare minimum of hassle.
