One of Atco’s premium mowers, the Atco Liner 19SE V is a rear roller lawnmower with plenty of impressive features. Perhaps the most interesting of these features is Atco’s innovative Twinclip blade. This blade features not two but four cutting surfaces, slicing grass blades into tiny pieces before they are blown into the large capacity grass collector bag. This system allows collection performance to be increased by around 20% when compared to a standard cut. With an 80-litre canvas bag, you won’t find yourself having to frequently empty the bag, which helps save time.
The finish this exceptional machine can give is comparable to a cylinder mower; with 8 height of cut position between 13 and 65mm and a rear roller to produce a crisp stripe, your lawn will be the envy of all your neighbours. Powered by a powerful Briggs & Stratton 675IS InStart engine with push button electric start, the Atco Liner 19SE V combines power and ease of operation. Thanks to the stepless variator, you’ll find this mower transitions through an infinite range of cutting speeds to exactly match your preferred walking pace, and you’ll find using the lawnmower near effortless.
The chassis of the Liner 19SE V is a unique hybrid, with galvanised and powder coated steel to prevent rust and corrosion and the rigidity of cast aluminium. Atco have even given thought to how you will clean and store your mower. With a hose connection on the chassis, you’ll just need to attach your hose pipe and all the clippings under the deck will be washed clean away. Quick release handles can be folded down to help reduce storage space necessary.
This model is suitable for lawns up to 50m by 50m in size, and comes with a five year warranty when you have your lawnmower serviced by a registered Atco dealer annually.

In 1921 the first 900 petrol-powered Atco lawnmowers rolled off the production line at the Atco mowers factory in Birmingham and were delivered, believe it or not, by a man on a motorcycle with a specially developed side-car for transportation of these heavy machines. Things have moved on a little since then for Atco mowers, but one thing remains the same — the quality of the Atco mowers and products is as good as it ever was, and even though they expanded into different areas of the garden machinery market, it is their cylinder mowers that they are best know for. The Atco name is synonymous with the British gardening scene and the company has been awarded two Royal Warrants, the first in 1955 from Queen Elizabeth II and again in 1986, this time from HRH The Prince Of Wales.
Robert Bosch GmbH acquired Atco-Qualcast Ltd in 1995 and this brought a modern approach to the manufacturing process with the cylinder mowers that the company is famous for changing tremendously, becoming more light-weight with a marked increase in usability and performance; the introduction of the now famous QX Quick Exchange Cassette System, for instance, allows gardeners to change their lawn application needs without changing machine. Not happy with manufacturing the highest quality products, Atco leads the way in environmental compliance, being the first garden machinery manufacturer to be awarded the environmental management standard BS EN ISO 14001.
