Atco Liner 22SH V Self Propelled Roller Rotary Lawnmower

  • Product Details

Enjoy a host of premium features and create an attractive striped finish over a large area in quick time with the well equipped Atco Liner 22SH V!

Key amongst those premium features is a Honda GCVx200 engine; a high capacity 201cc four-stroke air-cooled motor that develops a class-leading 5.1hp; and which combines an OHV configuration with Honda’s new Combustion technology for optimum efficiency and a drastic cut in the output of toxic exhaust-emissions (EU emission-requirements are exceeded).

Thanks to its four edged, patent-pending Twinclip blade, which cuts and recuts clippings, the Liner 22SH V packs-in up to 20% more grass into the substantial 80-litre catcher and is capable of producing a neat, fine-cut finish previously only achievable with a cylinder-mower.

A hybrid galvanised-steel/aluminium cutter confers the ultimate in strength and durability; while a stepless speed variator enables the successful management of varying terrains and grass lengths. Atco’s provision of eight preset cutting-heights contributes further to this model’s versatility.

Not just for stripe creation, the rear roller on the Liner 22SH V also provides extra stability when mowing along the edges of flowerbeds and vegetable plots.

With many mowers, the hard to reach under deck area can be tricky to keep free of corrosive, performance inhibiting debris. Not so with the Liner 22SH V – simply attach your hosepipe to the fixture point, run the water, spin the blades and the job’s done!

Other attributes include a front skid-plate for scalp-free results when manoeuvring on uneven ground; ball-bearing roller/wheels mounts for superior longevity; and comfort-enhancing VCS vibration control.

This model’s substantial 53cm (21”) cutting width and large 80-litre collector makes it suitable for use for larger lawns up to 1000m2 in size.

    About Atco

In 1921 the first 900 petrol-powered Atco lawnmowers rolled off the production line at the Atco mowers factory in Birmingham and were delivered, believe it or not, by a man on a motorcycle with a specially developed side-car for transportation of these heavy machines. Things have moved on a little since then for Atco mowers, but one thing remains the same — the quality of the Atco mowers and products is as good as it ever was, and even though they expanded into different areas of the garden machinery market, it is their cylinder mowers that they are best know for. The Atco name is synonymous with the British gardening scene and the company has been awarded two Royal Warrants, the first in 1955 from Queen Elizabeth II and again in 1986, this time from HRH The Prince Of Wales.

Robert Bosch GmbH acquired Atco-Qualcast Ltd in 1995 and this brought a modern approach to the manufacturing process with the cylinder mowers that the company is famous for changing tremendously, becoming more light-weight with a marked increase in usability and performance; the introduction of the now famous QX Quick Exchange Cassette System, for instance, allows gardeners to change their lawn application needs without changing machine. Not happy with manufacturing the highest quality products, Atco leads the way in environmental compliance, being the first garden machinery manufacturer to be awarded the environmental management standard BS EN ISO 14001.
