Out of stock

The excellent new Atco Quattro 22SV is Atco’s new flagship model. This self-propelled mower features a heavy duty variable speed transmission, 53cm cutting width, and is powered by a 163cc Briggs & Stratton 675 EXi (LL) Series ReadyStart engine with recoil start.

This mower features an ingenious Twinclip blade which cuts the grass not once but twice, to ensure outstanding cut and collection. With four cutting edges rather than the usual two, grass is cut very finely, meaning the collection capacity is increased by around 20% when compared with that of a standard cut lawnmower. The 70 litre collector with bag-full indicator is easily fitted with a simple one motion movement. All in all, you will need to empty the grass bag less frequently, saving time and effort.

The Atco Quattro 22SV boasts heavy duty handlebars which can be adjusted very simply to three different positions for users of different heights. They can also be folded down over the engine to save space during storage. Vibration control reduces that annoying tremors that you can get with powerful engines, causing less straight on arms, and making cutting your lawn an altogether more comfortable experience.

The chassis is a hybrid of durable galvanised steel and aluminium. Other useful features include a 4 in 1 cutting system (cut and collect, mulch, rear or side discharge), skid plate, 70 litre capacity canvas grass collector with a bag full indicator, and 7 cutting height positions from 25mm to 77mm which are easily adjusted through a single centralised lever. You can even clean your mower quickly and easily thanks to the hose connector; simply clip your hose pipe to the connector on the deck, and clippings will be easily washed away.

The Atco Quattro 22 SV is suitable for lawns up to 50m by 50m in size. With a five year warranty and an anti-corrosion warranty for the deck, you can purchase the Atco Quattro 22SV safe in the knowledge that this is a lawnmower to last you for years to come.

About Atco

In 1921 the first 900 petrol-powered Atco lawnmowers rolled off the production line at the Atco mowers factory in Birmingham and were delivered, believe it or not, by a man on a motorcycle with a specially developed side-car for transportation of these heavy machines. Things have moved on a little since then for Atco mowers, but one thing remains the same — the quality of the Atco mowers and products is as good as it ever was, and even though they expanded into different areas of the garden machinery market, it is their cylinder mowers that they are best know for. The Atco name is synonymous with the British gardening scene and the company has been awarded two Royal Warrants, the first in 1955 from Queen Elizabeth II and again in 1986, this time from HRH The Prince Of Wales.

Robert Bosch GmbH acquired Atco-Qualcast Ltd in 1995 and this brought a modern approach to the manufacturing process with the cylinder mowers that the company is famous for changing tremendously, becoming more light-weight with a marked increase in usability and performance; the introduction of the now famous QX Quick Exchange Cassette System, for instance, allows gardeners to change their lawn application needs without changing machine. Not happy with manufacturing the highest quality products, Atco leads the way in environmental compliance, being the first garden machinery manufacturer to be awarded the environmental management standard BS EN ISO 14001.
