The Bosch AHM 38 G Cylinder Lawnmower will give you the best finish to your lawn as the 5 bladed cylinder will cut the grass cleanly without ripping it due to the scissor-like cut.

Product Description

This lightweight, hand-powered mower is the ideal choice for anyone who has only a small area of grass to deal with: the lightness, easy manoeuvrability and simplicity make this mower especially ideal if you have limited strength or upper-body mobility; there are no cables to worry about tripping or mowing over; and there is no need to buy or store petrol.

The horizontally mounted cylinder of five curved blades made from hardened steel cuts against a stationary bottom blade to produce a scissor-like action, resulting in a clean cut rather than a ripping motion, and producing a much neater finish than many people would expect from the simple technology of the hand-powered mower. The cutting width of 38cm is generous for a small lawn, and the height of cut can also be adjusted easily without tools, to allow you to tailor the cut to the needs of your lawn or your personal preference. Three heights of cut from 15-43mm give maximum versatility, and the bottom blade can also be easily set thanks to the tool-less “click” locking system.

Weighing in at only 7.5kg, this mower is designed to be easy for anyone to use, whatever their strength, and also has an ergonomically designed handle to make mowing as comfortable an experience as possible. Even the wheels have been designed with special gear reduction to make them as smooth and free-running as possible, allowing you to use it easily under all conditions.

The 25l grass collecting box is designed to maximise efficiency: it is generous enough to enable you to spend as much time mowing and as little time emptying clippings as possible, but it is not so big as to make the mower heavy or cumbersome. This handy little mower is the ideal choice for simplicity and user-friendly engineering.

About Bosch
Since the humble beginnings in Stuttgart, 1886, when Robert Bosch formed his own business manufacturing electronic components, the ‘Workshop for Precision Mechanics and Electrical Engineering' has become one of the biggest and best known manufacturers of domestic and industrial electrical products in the world. The willingness to improve on established designs started almost immediately and it is this ethos that has kept Bosch GmbH and Bosch lawnmowers ahead of their rivals ever since. This innovation is quite apparent in the present range of Bosch lawnmowers and garden products that include tools no other garden machinery manufacturer produces.

Whatever size your garden, there is bound to be a Bosch lawnmower to suit it. The Bosch Rotak electric and cordless mowers exemplify the company’s willingness to innovate with features such as grass combs that enable mowing up to the edges of lawn borders and rechargeable lithium-ion batteries with virtually no drop-off in performance after extended use. Aside from Bosch lawnmowers, notable inventions are the Ciso Cordless Secateur and Isio Cordless Shrub Shear, tools that allow users with physical weaknesses to carryout day-to-day gardening tasks without discomfort. There is no doubt that if a garden tool can be improved upon, Robert Bosch GmbH is probably designing its successor already.
