This powerful grass trimmer would be ideal for anyone who has especially long grass or overgrown areas to deal with: its generous cutting width of 30cm allows you to cover large areas of unruly vegetation with ease, and its powerful 500W motor will deal easily with even the toughest conditions.
This grass trimmer is not the lightest on the market because of its powerful motor, but Bosch have carefully designed it to be easy to carry and use: its weight has been carefully balanced to avoid strain on the back and arms, and the whole machine has been designed according to ergonomic principles. The height-adjustable telescopic handling allows for easy trimming without having to resort to uncomfortable stooping, and the angle of the trimmer shaft is also adjustable to allow for easy trimming under low obstacles such as bushes and benches. The 90° rotating cutter head allows easy trimming and edging, and the adjustable auxiliary handle allows for comfortable use in all working positions. This machine also comes with a set of removable wheels, to make it even easier to manoeuvre and transport.
For easy use in both easy and tough grass conditions, this trimmer features a combination cutting system comprised of two spools: one for working in normal conditions and one that has been especially toughened to cope with more difficult conditions such as long or tough vegetation. The cutting system also features the Bosch “Pro-tap” spool: simply bump the spool on the ground to release more line, enabling a fast, smooth, continuous cutting performance. For maximum convenience, the spare spool can be stored under the handle to ensure it is instantly accessible, and the “click” spool replacement system means that swapping the spools is the work of moments. This model also comes with a plant protector bar, ensuring that you can trim around your prized plants in complete peace of mind.

About BoschSince the humble beginnings in Stuttgart, 1886, when Robert Bosch formed his own business manufacturing electronic components, the ‘Workshop for Precision Mechanics and Electrical Engineering' has become one of the biggest and best known manufacturers of domestic and industrial electrical products in the world. The willingness to improve on established designs started almost immediately and it is this ethos that has kept Bosch GmbH and Bosch lawnmowers ahead of their rivals ever since. This innovation is quite apparent in the present range of Bosch lawnmowers and garden products that include tools no other garden machinery manufacturer produces.
Whatever size your garden, there is bound to be a Bosch lawnmower to suit it. The Bosch Rotak electric and cordless mowers exemplify the company’s willingness to innovate with features such as grass combs that enable mowing up to the edges of lawn borders and rechargeable lithium-ion batteries with virtually no drop-off in performance after extended use. Aside from Bosch lawnmowers, notable inventions are the Ciso Cordless Secateur and Isio Cordless Shrub Shear, tools that allow users with physical weaknesses to carryout day-to-day gardening tasks without discomfort. There is no doubt that if a garden tool can be improved upon, Robert Bosch GmbH is probably designing its successor already.
