      The Rapid 2200 is a powerful single-blade impact shredder which is ideal for dealing with soft and green or woody material. Its 2200W Bosch “Powerdrive” motor is capable of a throughput of 90kg per hour, making it one of the fastest on the market. The engine runs at 3650rpm, and its innovative gear set combined with the power of the motor mean this shredder has the highest torque in its class, ensuring it can deal with branches up to 40mm wide- and it will maintain its torque and speed in even the toughest conditions.

      The laser-cut precision blade is made from especially hardened steel, and double-sided for maximum efficiency. It gives a fine cut, meaning the shredded material can be simply mulched or put on a domestic compost heap rather than thrown away. The hopper has been designed large-capacity to allow for much safer and easier loading, and to enable a faster throughput of material. To make loading even easier, Bosch have included a practical full-width plunger, which will also speed up throughput and make the machine even safer for the operator.

      Not only is the machine safe and easy to use, but Bosch have also designed it to be easy to move when not in use. It is very light, weighing in at only 12kg, making it easily light enough to carry, and it also incorporates a large handle making it extremely easy to move around to wherever it is needed, or to and from storage.
