Designed for moving and loading stone, ballast, and tarmac, Bulldog’s Premier Ballast Fork boasts chisel prongs which are thicker than those of a conventional fork, penetrating with ease. The dished head meanwhile is the perfect shape for moving large quantities of material at a time.
The Ballast Fork is incredibly strong and durable thanks to its solid-forged strapped design, the 10-prong head (L 370mm x W 285mm) and strap forged from a single piece of steel, meaning there are no welds or weak points. The strap has then been riveted to the shaft – the strongest method of attaching a head to a shaft.
The 28” (711mm) shaft itself meanwhile is made from high-quality FSC ash and has been varnished to make it weather-resistant. Finally, comfortable use is ensured by the MYD handle, boasting a D-shaped designed and comprised of a robust steel frame and a wooden grip.
