With a long 32” (815mm) shaft for extra leverage and more comfortable use, this Flat Treaded Spade from Bulldog is designed for digging in unprepared ground and readying the soil for the planting of new vegetables, seeds and plants. The socket and blade (L 290mm x W 190mm) have been forged from a single piece of steel for excellent durability, while flat treads have been welded onto the top edge of the blade to protect your shoes and prevent slippage in wet weather. The YD wooden handle meanwhile is made of high quality ash and moulds to the user’s hand shape over time for greater comfort.

All petrol machinery is checked before dispatch by our team of trained mechanics.
