Designed for digging holes, deep narrow trenches, cable channels, pipe channels, drain channels and post holes, Bulldog’s Premier Newcastle Draining Tool is a highly durable piece of equipment with a strapped design for added strength and treads for more comfortable use.
This spade’s blade, measuring at (L) 355mm x (W) 178mm, is incredibly durable as it has been solid-forged with the strap from a single piece of steel, and then riveted to the shaft – the strongest method of attaching a blade to a shaft. Treads meanwhile have been welded to the upper edge of the blade, enabling you to put the power of your legs into the digging action without damaging your shoes, or slipping in wet and muddy conditions.
The 28” (711mm) shaft meanwhile is made of high-quality American & German FSC ash and has been varnished to make it weather-resistance. A comfortable grip meanwhile is afforded by the T-shaped handle.
