Designed for professionals and those who want the ultimate in terms of strength and quality, this Newcastle Draining Tool is ideal for digging holes, deep narrow trenches, cable channels, pipe channels, drain channels, and post holes. This model features flat treads for more comfortable use and more power in the digging action, plus a polyfibreglass shaft and a D-shaped handle.
This spade’s blade (L 405mm x W 178mm) has been solid-forged with the socket from a single piece of steel for excellent durability (no welds or weak points). Flat treads moreover have been welded to the upper edge of the blade, enabling you to effectively use the power of your legs in the digging motion, and helping you to avoid damaging your shoes and slipping when working in wet and muddy conditions.
The 28” (711mm) shaft and handle meanwhile are made of incredibly strong polyfibreglass, the D-shape of the handle affording you a secure and comfortable grip.
