Designed for digging in unprepared ground in preparation for the planting of new seeds, plants and vegetables, this 28” Spade from Bulldog is an incredibly tough piece of equipment thanks to its strapped design. The blade (L 290mm x W 190mm) and straps are a solid one-piece manganese steel forging, riveted to the 28” (711mm) wooden shaft and T-shaped handle. Flat treads meanwhile have been welded to the top of the blade, protecting your shoes from damage and preventing you from slipping in wet conditions.
