Designed for professionals and those who want the ultimate in terms of quality and strength, the Premier Taper Mouth Shovel is sometimes preferred to the Square Mouth Shovel, and is ideal for digging out and backfilling trenches, mixing concrete, working tarmac, and other general shovelling jobs.
This shovel is equipped with a No.2 blade sized at (L) 315mm x (W) 250mm, solid-forged with the socket from a single piece of steel for excellent strength and durability. The 28” (711mm) shaft meanwhile is made from high-quality American & German FSC ash and has been fixed deep within the socket for added toughness. The ash has also been varnished to protect it against the elements. The D-shaped handle meanwhile ensures comfortable use, comprised of a robust metal frame and a wooden grip.
