Sometimes preferred as an alternative to the Square Mouth Shovel, this Premier Taper Mouth Shovel is ideal for digging out and backfilling trenches, mixing concrete, working tarmac, and doing other general shovelling jobs. Featuring a tapered No.2 blade which is especially useful for working in tight spots, this model also boasts a shaft and handle made from one solid polyfibreglass piece.
The No.2 blade (L 315mm x W 250mm) has been solid-forged with the socket from a single piece of steel for excellent strength and durability. The polyfibreglass shaft meanwhile is 28” (711mm) in length and ends in a D-shaped handle for a secure and comfortable grip.
