Featuring a slightly wider blade than the Irish pattern head (L 290mm x W 265mm), the Premier West Country Shovel is a hardened and tempered tool ideal for moving loose materials such as shingle, sand, and gravel, the blade and open socket solid-forged from a single piece of steel for excellent strength and durability.
The extra-long 54” (1372mm) handle meanwhile provides appropriate leverage for you to put power into the digging action, and enables you to work comfortably without too much bending down. Made of high-quality FSC ash, the handle has also been buried deep in the socket for added toughness, shaped for a more comfortable feel, and varnished to make it weather-resistant.
