ECHO’s range of powerful chainsaws has something for just about every situation. Well, there probably isn’t a chainsaw in there appropriate for a child’s birthday party, or for visiting an elderly relative in hospital, or for quite a lot of other non-chainsaw suitable situations. If you’re looking to cut stuff with exceptional efficiency though, there is almost certainly a machine tailored for your specific needs. The CS-310ES, for example, is a lightweight, compact and well-balanced chainsaw ideal for pruning tree branches, cutting firewood and general household and garden cutting work.
As this might suggest, one of the principal virtues of the CS-310ES is its superb user-friendliness. The hardworking 30.5cc two-stroke petrol engine at the CS-310ES’s heart, for instance, incorporates Power Boost Tornado™ technology for greater power, increased fuel efficiency, improved combustion and reduced exhaust emissions. The ‘ES’ in its name, moreover, stands for ECHO’s ‘Easy Start’ system; designed to decrease the resistance of the recoil starter cord, this Easy Start system then combines with digitally controlled capacitor discharge ignition and an auto-choke to make starting pleasingly quick and simple, even on cold mornings. Also equipped with an effective inertia chain brake and a rear hand guard for added safety, the CS-310ES therefore makes even challenging cutting work reassuringly stress-free.
The CS-310ES also cuts with outstanding efficiency, which perhaps isn’t surprising given the sturdy 35cm (14”) guide bar and 3/8” pitch chain combination that come fitted as standard. With its low weight of only 4.0kg (without bar and chain), the CS-310ES also handles excellently and offers remarkable accuracy of cut. This combination of manoeuvrability and cutting power makes this potent little machine perfect for tricky cutting jobs in gardens and urban landscaping work, such as pruning overgrown tree branches and woody shrubs, or simply cutting up firewood for the log pile. Moreover, with an aero-mechanically engineered G-Force Engine Air Pre-Cleaner system also included to help control dust during operation, you can rest assured of consistently high quality results.
As with all of ECHO’s machines, the CS-310ES is also built to last. Its durability is in part attributable to the inclusion of features you would usually only find on significantly more expensive saws, such as the twin guide bar studs and an easy-access high performance air filter. Should this impressive toughness not be enough to convince, however, the additional inclusion of either a five year domestic warranty or a two year commercial manufacturer’s warranty as standard will offer a little additional reassurance that the CS-310ES is a saw capable of providing many years of superbly reliable service.

About EchoECHO has been a leading Japanese manufacturer of commercial quality outdoor power equipment for over thirty years, but the origins of the company can be traced back further still. This is because ECHO is a branch of the Yamabiko Corporation, which was formed with the merger of the Kioritz Corporation and the Shindaiwa Corporation after WWII. Both of these companies had over fifty years of experience in their respective fields and the Yamabiko Corporation continued this heritage by drawing upon the experience of both, releasing a revolutionary new backpack power-duster in 1947. This was followed by the first Kyoritsu ‘power scythe’ brushcutter 1960, and in 1968 by the first “ECHO” product, the CS-80 chainsaw. Since then, ECHO has become a name associated with high performance, highly durable and superbly easy to use power tools across the globe.
Extremely reliable and dependable, ECHO tools are ergonomically designed to be comfortable to use and perform to the very highest professional standards every working day. ECHO also continues to innovate, striving to stay at the cutting edge of technological development in order to provide the best products possible. This is particularly evident in the company’s development of low noise, low vibration and low emission engine technology, making ECHO tools significantly easier to use and better for the environment than many competing machines.
These days the iconic orange casing of ECHO power tools can be found in garden sheds and garages throughout the UK, and with a wide range of products available for both commercial and domestic users, including a variety of handy chainsaws, hedgetrimmers, brushcutters and leaf blowers, there is therefore almost certainly an ECHO tool ideal for you, whatever your particular requirements.
