The description of ECHO’s CS-360WES as a “slimline” chainsaw might seem to imply that it is a saw designed for those with particularly small tool sheds (sort of the arboricultural version of a slimline refrigerator), but it in fact reflects this machine’s superbly light, compact and manoeuvrable design. This makes the CS-360WES particularly easy to handle and enjoyable to use, providing impressive cutting power perfect for a wide range of jobs around homes, gardens and farms.
Designed for tasks such as pruning, snedding and felling small trees, the CS-360WES is powered by a hardworking 35.8cc two-stroke petrol engine and suitable for both domestic and professional use. We can thank ECHO’s innovative Power Boost Tornado™ technology for this, improving combustion to ensure increased power, greater fuel efficiency and reduced exhaust emissions. This in turn allows the CS-360WES to compete with chainsaws which might seem much more powerful on paper, but with the additional advantage of the added portability and accuracy of cut provided by a superbly lightweight (only 3.7kg) build.
Fitted as standard with a sturdy 35cm guide bar and 3/8” pitch chain, the CS-360WES complements its ease of operation with impressive clout. As such this excellent machine will make light work of even challenging tasks, offering power belied by its relatively compact size. A side mounted chain tensioner screw, moreover, makes it easy to tighten the chain prior to use, while an optional bumper spike is also included for added versatility, so you can be completely assured of outstanding results every time. In addition to this, the CS-360WES also features an effective inertia chain brake, providing vital protection against kickback events.
A range of convenient features, furthermore, helps to make the CS-360WES even easier to use. A practical Easy Start system, for example, reduces starter cord resistance and combines with digitally controlled capacitor discharge ignition for dependably hassle-free starting, thus saving time and effort from the moment you begin working. Tool-less air filter removal, moreover, facilitates routine maintenance to help ensure a longer service life, and to ensure complete peace of mind ECHO even offers either a five year domestic warranty or a two year commercial warranty as standard with every machine.

About EchoECHO has been a leading Japanese manufacturer of commercial quality outdoor power equipment for over thirty years, but the origins of the company can be traced back further still. This is because ECHO is a branch of the Yamabiko Corporation, which was formed with the merger of the Kioritz Corporation and the Shindaiwa Corporation after WWII. Both of these companies had over fifty years of experience in their respective fields and the Yamabiko Corporation continued this heritage by drawing upon the experience of both, releasing a revolutionary new backpack power-duster in 1947. This was followed by the first Kyoritsu ‘power scythe’ brushcutter 1960, and in 1968 by the first “ECHO” product, the CS-80 chainsaw. Since then, ECHO has become a name associated with high performance, highly durable and superbly easy to use power tools across the globe.
Extremely reliable and dependable, ECHO tools are ergonomically designed to be comfortable to use and perform to the very highest professional standards every working day. ECHO also continues to innovate, striving to stay at the cutting edge of technological development in order to provide the best products possible. This is particularly evident in the company’s development of low noise, low vibration and low emission engine technology, making ECHO tools significantly easier to use and better for the environment than many competing machines.
These days the iconic orange casing of ECHO power tools can be found in garden sheds and garages throughout the UK, and with a wide range of products available for both commercial and domestic users, including a variety of handy chainsaws, hedgetrimmers, brushcutters and leaf blowers, there is therefore almost certainly an ECHO tool ideal for you, whatever your particular requirements.
