ECHOs CS-370ES chainsaw is ideal for tough work on large estates. Driven by a 36.3cc petrol engine, it is fitted with a 33cm guide bar and 0.325″ chain for efficiency when pruning branches or when felling small trees.
The good people at Popular Mechanics magazine seem to have been suitably impressed with ECHO’s high-performance CS-370ES petrol chainsaw, describing it as “almost perfect” during one product test. In fact, the only gripe the reviewer had with this exceptional machine was that “the saw’s starter handle is a little small”. You shouldn’t let this qualification put you off though, as its possible the reviewer in question simply had freakishly large hands. Either way, this is a machine ideal for tackling touch cutting work on large farms and estates.
Perfection is a big claim though, so it is worth taking a moment to consider the many virtues of this admirable piece of kit. The CS-370ES’s powerful yet low emission 36.3cc two-stroke petrol engine, for example, stands out both for its reliably smooth running performance and for featuring ECHO’s clever Power Boost Tornado™ technology to optimise the combustion process. This ensures that fuel is burnt more efficiently and completely, thus enhancing performance while simultaneously reducing fuel demands and particle emissions. A practical Easy Start system, digitally controlled capacitor controlled ignition and an easy-access primer bulb and choke, meanwhile, make the CS-370ES remarkably user-friendly from the moment you begin working.
Consistently excellent cutting results are ensured by a sturdy 33cm (13”) guide bar and 0.325” chain which come fitted as standard, enabling efficient cutting of firewood, effective pruning of tough branches and hedgerows, and even the felling and snedding of small trees. A nice additional extra in terms of versatility is that the CS-370ES is also supplied with an optional bumper spike, providing a helpful pivot point when cutting thicker branches or trunks. A side mounted chain tensioner screw, moreover, makes it easy to tighten the saw chain whenever required, while an adjustable automatic oiler regulates the chain lubrication to suit the cutting conditions at hand.
To make sure that the CS-370ES is comfortable and easy to control at all times ECHO has also included a range of ergonomic features in its design, including an effective inertia chain brake for added protection against kickback events. An aero-mechanically engineered G-Force Engine Air Pre-Cleaner system, furthermore, helps offer superb dust control, while tool-less air filter removal makes routine servicing much easier. You can therefore be assured of great, long lasting performance, with the inclusion of either a five year domestic warranty or a two year commercial warranty with every machine offering further peace of mind.

About EchoECHO has been a leading Japanese manufacturer of commercial quality outdoor power equipment for over thirty years, but the origins of the company can be traced back further still. This is because ECHO is a branch of the Yamabiko Corporation, which was formed with the merger of the Kioritz Corporation and the Shindaiwa Corporation after WWII. Both of these companies had over fifty years of experience in their respective fields and the Yamabiko Corporation continued this heritage by drawing upon the experience of both, releasing a revolutionary new backpack power-duster in 1947. This was followed by the first Kyoritsu ‘power scythe’ brushcutter 1960, and in 1968 by the first “ECHO” product, the CS-80 chainsaw. Since then, ECHO has become a name associated with high performance, highly durable and superbly easy to use power tools across the globe.
Extremely reliable and dependable, ECHO tools are ergonomically designed to be comfortable to use and perform to the very highest professional standards every working day. ECHO also continues to innovate, striving to stay at the cutting edge of technological development in order to provide the best products possible. This is particularly evident in the company’s development of low noise, low vibration and low emission engine technology, making ECHO tools significantly easier to use and better for the environment than many competing machines.
These days the iconic orange casing of ECHO power tools can be found in garden sheds and garages throughout the UK, and with a wide range of products available for both commercial and domestic users, including a variety of handy chainsaws, hedgetrimmers, brushcutters and leaf blowers, there is therefore almost certainly an ECHO tool ideal for you, whatever your particular requirements.
