ECHOs CS-620SX is a heavy duty petrol chainsaw ideal for felling larger trees and forestry work. Powered by a hardworking 59.8cc petrol engine, the CS-610 is fitted with a sturdy 45cm bar for superb cutting performance.

Chainsaws, like people, come in many different shapes and sizes. Among the various machines available on the market today, ECHO’s CS-610 is a professional, heavy duty petrol chainsaw ideal for felling larger trees, and thus perfect for even the most challenging forestry work. Were ECHO’s CS-610 a person, then, it would be the kind of gentleman you see at the World’s Strongest Man competitions; big, tough, powerful, and certainly not to be messed with.

Take the 59.8cc two-stroke petrol engine at the heart of the CS-610. With an engine of this size you’re already going to be packing a fair amount of punch, but with the improved combustion offered by ECHO’s brilliant Power Boost Tornadotechnology the CS-610 can outperform pretty much any similarly equipped machine. In addition to this, optimising the combustion process also reduces the amount of unburned fuel released into the atmosphere, so the Power Boost Tornadosystem also improves fuel efficiency and reduces harmful emissions. A high capacity 0.57 litre fuel tank, meanwhile, increases run time between fuel stops to save valuable time and effort when taking on heavier workloads.

With a sturdy 45cm (18”) guide bar and 3/8” chain fitted as standard, the CS-610 is happily capable of matching its impressive power with its cutting performance. Tough felling, snedding and bucking work has therefore never been easier, with features such as the easy-access side mounted chain tensioner, effective oil pump and optional bumper spike all offering welcome convenience in a variety of cutting conditions. A dual post chain brake handle, moreover, increases durability and allows quick activation of the chain brake for added safety; the chain brake also activates automatically for vital protection in the event of dangerous kickback.

When used on a day-to-day basis for demanding professional cutting work you will undoubtedly also enjoy the little convenient touches included in the CS-610’s design, such as the decompression valve and digitally controlled capacitor discharge ignition, which each help to make starting reliably hassle-free. Also featuring an innovative G-Force Engine Air Pre-Cleaner system to eliminate dirt and debris before it enters the air filter, thereby reducing service requirements and increasing the engine’s service life, the CS-610 benefits significantly from ECHO’s legendary commitment to quality, robust construction; ECHO’s faith in the superb durability of the CS-610 is further reflected in the fact that each machine comes with either a five year domestic warranty or a two year commercial warranty as standard.

About Echo
ECHO has been a leading Japanese manufacturer of commercial quality outdoor power equipment for over thirty years, but the origins of the company can be traced back further still. This is because ECHO is a branch of the Yamabiko Corporation, which was formed with the merger of the Kioritz Corporation and the Shindaiwa Corporation after WWII. Both of these companies had over fifty years of experience in their respective fields and the Yamabiko Corporation continued this heritage by drawing upon the experience of both, releasing a revolutionary new backpack power-duster in 1947. This was followed by the first Kyoritsu ‘power scythe’ brushcutter 1960, and in 1968 by the first “ECHO” product, the CS-80 chainsaw. Since then, ECHO has become a name associated with high performance, highly durable and superbly easy to use power tools across the globe.

Extremely reliable and dependable, ECHO tools are ergonomically designed to be comfortable to use and perform to the very highest professional standards every working day. ECHO also continues to innovate, striving to stay at the cutting edge of technological development in order to provide the best products possible. This is particularly evident in the company’s development of low noise, low vibration and low emission engine technology, making ECHO tools significantly easier to use and better for the environment than many competing machines.

These days the iconic orange casing of ECHO power tools can be found in garden sheds and garages throughout the UK, and with a wide range of products available for both commercial and domestic users, including a variety of handy chainsaws, hedgetrimmers, brushcutters and leaf blowers, there is therefore almost certainly an ECHO tool ideal for you, whatever your particular requirements.
