Echo RM-410ES Petrol Brushcutter

  • Product Details

Most brushcutters are designed for use in gardens, few of which can claim to be much more than “gently undulating” when it comes to uneven terrain. Some of the very toughest commercial grass cutting jobs, however, involve working on rough ground, steep slopes and in other hard to access areas. To get such work done quickly and effectively, something out of the ordinary is thus required. Very much the mountain goat of the brushcutter world, ECHO’s superb RM-410ES is a backpack brushcutter designed specifically for comfortable, safe and efficient operation on slopes and rougher ground.

Powered by an industrious 42.7cc two-stroke petrol engine, built with ECHO’s unique Power Boost Tornado technology™ for reduced emissions, increased fuel efficiency and improved performance, the RM-410ES is potent enough to take on even the most heavy-duty commercial grass cutting jobs with the bare minimum of hassle. Importantly, this engine is mounted on a comfortable backpack harness, distributing the weight evenly to prevent any strain and allowing you to move and work unimpeded even in the very toughest cutting conditions. The RM-410ES’s flexible shaft further increases freedom of movement, enabling you to work effectively on slopes and uneven terrain which would prove troublesome for a conventional brushcutter.

For maximum grass cutting versatility, the RM-410ES is supplied as standard with both a clever ‘Tap & Go’ trimmer head and a tough metal grass blade. Using the trimmer head you can achieve a pleasingly precise finish when edging borders or cutting in hard to reach areas, but with the semi-automatic ‘Tap & Go’ feed system the trimmer head is also more than efficient enough for even larger jobs. The sturdy three-tooth grass blade, meanwhile, is ideal for clearing dense vegetation quickly and economically, including brambles, thistles and other weeds. Moreover, with an optional saw blade also available you can even use the RM-410ES for light forestry work, including pruning tree branches, saplings and other woody growths.

All cutting modes benefit from the inclusion of a durable debris guard, which deflects grass cuttings and other detritus thrown up during operation for a safer and more comfortable working experience, while a 1.20 litre fuel tank helps to maximise run time between refuelling stops. For even greater convenience, the RM-410ES also features ECHO’s Easy Start technology to reduce starter cord resistance, and an ergonomically designed loop handle which dampens vibrations, thus ensuring that even the longest periods of use are as comfortable and hassle-free as possible.

    About Echo
ECHO has been a leading Japanese manufacturer of commercial quality outdoor power equipment for over thirty years, but the origins of the company can be traced back further still. This is because ECHO is a branch of the Yamabiko Corporation, which was formed with the merger of the Kioritz Corporation and the Shindaiwa Corporation after WWII. Both of these companies had over fifty years of experience in their respective fields and the Yamabiko Corporation continued this heritage by drawing upon the experience of both, releasing a revolutionary new backpack power-duster in 1947. This was followed by the first Kyoritsu ‘power scythe’ brushcutter 1960, and in 1968 by the first “ECHO” product, the CS-80 chainsaw. Since then, ECHO has become a name associated with high performance, highly durable and superbly easy to use power tools across the globe.

Extremely reliable and dependable, ECHO tools are ergonomically designed to be comfortable to use and perform to the very highest professional standards every working day. ECHO also continues to innovate, striving to stay at the cutting edge of technological development in order to provide the best products possible. This is particularly evident in the company’s development of low noise, low vibration and low emission engine technology, making ECHO tools significantly easier to use and better for the environment than many competing machines.

These days the iconic orange casing of ECHO power tools can be found in garden sheds and garages throughout the UK, and with a wide range of products available for both commercial and domestic users, including a variety of handy chainsaws, hedgetrimmers, brushcutters and leaf blowers, there is therefore almost certainly an ECHO tool ideal for you, whatever your particular requirements.
