Efco’s DS 2400 S is a powerful petrol brushcutter designed to professional standards, but with a lightweight build and a raft of handy ergonomic features to make it ideal for the discerning home gardener. In itself, the DS 2400 S is more than capable of handling a wide range of grass cutting applications, but here it is bundled with Efco’s EH48 hedgetrimmer attachment and the EP100 pruner attachment to further increase its impressive versatility and to provide a comprehensive garden care package.
Supplied with both a dual nylon line trimmer head and a tough metal grass blade, the DS 2400 S excels at everything from precise trimming work to tough clearance of dense undergrowth, and with power supplied by an efficient 21.7cc two-stroke petrol engine this impressive brushcutter is an ideal machine for anyone with a large or complicated garden. Moreover, the trimmer head features both ‘Tap & Go’ semi-automatic line advancement for added efficiency and a ‘Load & Go’ system to facilitate quick and hassle-free servicing. Equipped with a sturdy plastic blade guard for protection against clippings and other debris thrown up by the cutting gear, additional ergonomic features on the DS 2400 S include a comfortable loop handle, an extended shaft designed to ensure good working posture, and a built-in anti-vibration system.
The DS 2400 S is thus a remarkably capable machine in its own right. When dealing with tougher cutting work, however, the EH48 hedgetrimmer attachment provides a pleasingly potent alternative, converting your brushcutter for trimming and managing hedgerows, shrubs and bushes. Fitted with a sturdy 48cm reciprocating double blade featuring 270° of cutting angle articulation to allow you to adapt the trimmer to the job at hand, the hedgetrimmer attachment can even be used for trimming tall hedgerows and bushes from a safe standing position.
And finally, when even the hedgetrimmer isn’t enough Efco’s EP100 pruner attachment provides even more bite in the form of a 25cm mini-chainsaw. Quick and easy to attach, the pruner unit converts the DS 2400 S for effortless pruning and cutting of tough tree branches, saplings and other woody growths and, as with the hedgetrimmer attachment, features an elongated shaft to make reaching high branches safe and easy.
Together, these three implements provide all of the cutting power you could possibly need to keep your garden in good shape, and with Efco’s usual high manufacturing standards you can rest assured of many years of gratifying performance.
