A powerful petrol brushcutter with a hi-tech, low emission 35.8cc four-stroke engine, this machine combines user-friendliness and high performance making it ideal for dedicated home gardeners and semi-professionals.

Two-stroke engines have their advantages; they are lighter, simpler and cheaper to manufacture than four-stroke engines, for example. However, when compared to four-stroke engines they are also dirty, noisy and require more maintenance work. This is why Efco’s four-stroke petrol brushcutters, such as the DS 3600 4T, stand out from the crowd, as the powerful four-stroke engines they use provide a much more user-friendly working experience. This makes Efco’s four-stroke petrol brushcutters an environmentally friendly choice for discerning home gardeners faced with the challenge of maintaining a great finish in a larger garden.

A powerful petrol brushcutter with a hi-tech, low emission 35.8cc four-stroke engine, Efco’s DS 3600 4T is also built with a clever ‘Burn Right’ system to further improve combustion. Along with the benefits already afforded by the four-stroke technology, the ‘Burn Right’ system ensures that the DS 3600 4T is far cleaner and quieter running than any comparable two-stroke machine. Moreover, due to the reduced fuel and maintenance demands that result from the optimised combustion process, this impressive machine is even cheaper to run than equivalent two-stroke brushcutters, providing significant savings over the lifetime of the engine.

The DS 3600 4T is also remarkably versatile, with both a sturdy dual nylon line trimmer head and a hardened steel brushcutter blade supplied as standard. The brushcutter blade comes into its own when faced with the toughest cutting work, clearing dense undergrowth and rough grass with ease. The trimmer head is no slouch either, however, with a ‘Tap & Go’ line feed system boosting efficiency to make trimming larger areas of long grass eminently manageable. Moreover, with the inclusion of Efco’s clever ‘Load & Go’ technology even inexperienced users will find reloading the cutting line reassuringly simple, saving valuable time and effort in the process.

Whether using the trimmer head or the grass blade, the inclusion of a robust plastic blade guard helps to keep you safe by deflecting grass, stones and any other debris accidentally thrown up by the cutting gear. Moreover, with the inclusion of digital coil ignition, a primer bulb and a choke lever it is always easy to get the DS 3600 4T up and running, even on colder mornings. Perhaps more impressive still, however, is the DS 3600 4T’s ergonomic dual-handlebar, designed to provide an optimal working position, easy access to all controls and complete freedom of movement. This, along with a supportive double-shoulder harness (also supplied as standard), ensures that you can use the DS 3600 4T in complete comfort at all times, even over sustained periods of operation.

Part of Efco’s ‘Tough-Tech’ range, the DS 3600 4T is also more than capable of withstanding the rigours of even the most demanding grass cutting applications, making it a machine perfect for the dedicated home gardener and semi-professional user alike.

About Efco
Giacomo Ferretti set the foundations of the Efco brand on the road to success back in 1978, spotting an opportunity to satisfy an Italian market beginning to demand high quality outdoor power tools. He responded by producing Efco lawnmowers, brush cutters, and chainsaws. Due to the high quality of the machinery made, the manufacturing of these products soon developed an enviable reputation amongst forestry and agricultural workers, users that demanded the best performance possible from their equipment. Sales of Efco lawnmowers began to soar during the intervening years and the Efco brand is now internationally recognised as a leader in the field of garden machinery manufacturing.

They take their role very seriously though, and were the first company in this sector to achieve official certification in three crucial areas of business sustainability: the ISO 9001:2008 certification for quality in 1996, the SA 8000:2008 certificate for ethical processes of production in 2006 and the ISO 14001:2004, recognising Efco's efforts to reduce their impact on the environment with an ongoing commitment to become Carbon Neutral starting in 2010.
