Product Description

Amidst Efco’s range of two-stroke petrol blowers the SA 2062 is, so to speak, the ‘daddy’ of them all. Tougher, more powerful and more versatile than its brethren, the SA 2062 is a commercial grade backpack mounted leaf blower ideal for clearing loose leaves and other green waste from the surfaces of large gardens, farmyards, city parks, sport stadia, hospital and hotel forecourts, streets and just about anywhere else that such detritus might accumulate. Thus, if you are looking for a petrol blower capable of delivering truly professional levels of performance the SA 2062 is almost certainly the machine for you.

The standout feature of this magnificent piece of kit is almost certainly the impressive 61.3cc Emak two-stroke petrol engine at its heart. Built for reliable, long lasting performance, this engine provides 4.5 horsepower and allows the SA 2062 to achieve a maximum airflow of up to 20.0m3/min at 90m/s. The SA 2062 will therefore clear all leaves, cuttings and other loose debris from lawns and hard surfaces with admirable efficiency, tackling even heavy workloads with ease. To further improve its performance under the most demanding circumstances the SA 2062 is also fitted with a massive 2.3 litre fuel tank, allowing you to work uninterrupted for longer by increasing run time between fuel stops.

Despite the increased size and weight of its engine, the SA 2062 remains just as manoeuvrable as many smaller machines. This is, of course, largely due to the fact that said engine is mounted on an ergonomically designed backpack harness which distributes the blower’s weight evenly to prevent strain over extended periods of use. Along with its flexible blower tube and intuitive all-in-one joystick-style handle, this makes the SA 2062 pleasingly easy to use even when working on uneven terrain or rough ground. A traditional recoil starter unit, meanwhile, means that it is always easy to get the engine going when you need it.

Just as important when taking on challenging clearance jobs, the SA 2062 is also a tough little machine. Built with only the best materials, with sturdy polypropylene used in the construction of the harness frame, and featuring the highest quality components, including a large paper air filter designed to prevent power loss when working in dusty environments, the SA 2062 is therefore capable of offering many years of dependably outstanding performance. Moreover, with an optional duckbill-style nozzle and mistblower conversion kit also available, the SA 2062 can be quickly and easily adapted to suit an impressively extensive range of situations, making Efco’s exceptional backpack leaf blower a worthy investment for any dedicated gardener or professional horticulturalist.

About Efco
Giacomo Ferretti set the foundations of the Efco brand on the road to success back in 1978, spotting an opportunity to satisfy an Italian market beginning to demand high quality outdoor power tools. He responded by producing Efco lawnmowers, brush cutters, and chainsaws. Due to the high quality of the machinery made, the manufacturing of these products soon developed an enviable reputation amongst forestry and agricultural workers, users that demanded the best performance possible from their equipment. Sales of Efco lawnmowers began to soar during the intervening years and the Efco brand is now internationally recognised as a leader in the field of garden machinery manufacturing.

They take their role very seriously though, and were the first company in this sector to achieve official certification in three crucial areas of business sustainability: the ISO 9001:2008 certification for quality in 1996, the SA 8000:2008 certificate for ethical processes of production in 2006 and the ISO 14001:2004, recognising Efco's efforts to reduce their impact on the environment with an ongoing commitment to become Carbon Neutral starting in 2010.
