A powerful handheld blower designed to be more user-friendly, quieter and cleaner running than a conventional petrol leaf blower. This makes it perfect for use in urban or residential areas.

Despite the obvious fun to be had with a powerful handheld blower, especially during the autumn when a profusion of fallen leaves provides a lot of potential for play, leaf blowers are also notoriously troublesome machines due to oftentimes being noisy and spewing out unpleasant fumes. Everything about Efco’s SA 3000, however, is designed to make it more user-friendly, quieter and cleaner running than a conventional leaf blower. This makes it perfect for use in urban or residential areas, and thus an ideal way of keeping lawns, paths, driveways and forecourts looking immaculately neat and tidy.

This excellence is at least partially rooted in the SA 3000’s powerful 30.5cc two-stroke petrol engine. Built with ‘Burn Right’ technology to improve the combustion process, this engine offers greater fuel efficiency and significantly reduces noise and particle emissions compared to most two-stroke engines. As such, there are few blowers on the market as capable of providing long lasting, reliable and user-friendly blowing power as the SA 3000. The industry-leading qualities of the SA 3000 don’t end there though, as the inclusion of an innovative “Vibcut” anti-vibration system means that this impressive piece of kit also offers the lowest vibration levels on the market, thereby ensuring comfortable operation at all times.

The SA 3000 is capable of delivering a maximum airflow of up to 12.0m3/min at 70m/s, providing more than enough pushing power to tackle the majority of domestic clearance jobs with ease. Moreover, with the inclusion of a handy throttle locking mechanism you can also set the airflow to a steady stream suitable for the job at hand without having to keep the throttle trigger manually depressed. Thus, whether faced with grass clippings, dead leaves or other loose debris, and whether working on a lawn or a harder surface, the SA 3000 makes keeping your garden tidy a doddle.

This ease of operation is further boosted by the SA 3000’s compact, lightweight and ergonomic design. Weighing only 4.5kg and fitted with a comfortable, rubber coated handle featuring an integrated throttle trigger, Efco’s brilliant little leaf blower is remarkably easy to control and portable enough for convenient use even in larger gardens. A traditional recoil starter unit, moreover, makes ignition pleasingly easy to handle, with a high capacity 0.6 litre fuel tank included to permit longer periods of uninterrupted use without the hassle of having to stop and refuel. As if all of this wasn’t enough the SA 3000 can also be customised with either an optional vacuum kit or a duckbilled blower tube attachment for superb versatility, while a single shoulder harness is available to provide a little extra support when taking on bigger jobs.

About Efco
Giacomo Ferretti set the foundations of the Efco brand on the road to success back in 1978, spotting an opportunity to satisfy an Italian market beginning to demand high quality outdoor power tools. He responded by producing Efco lawnmowers, brush cutters, and chainsaws. Due to the high quality of the machinery made, the manufacturing of these products soon developed an enviable reputation amongst forestry and agricultural workers, users that demanded the best performance possible from their equipment. Sales of Efco lawnmowers began to soar during the intervening years and the Efco brand is now internationally recognised as a leader in the field of garden machinery manufacturing.

They take their role very seriously though, and were the first company in this sector to achieve official certification in three crucial areas of business sustainability: the ISO 9001:2008 certification for quality in 1996, the SA 8000:2008 certificate for ethical processes of production in 2006 and the ISO 14001:2004, recognising Efco's efforts to reduce their impact on the environment with an ongoing commitment to become Carbon Neutral starting in 2010.
