There are many qualities which you will want to find in a commercial grade hedgetrimmer. Power and durability, obviously, as you need something able to stand up to the rigors of continual, heavy duty use. But the fact you will be using it on a regular basis and for prolonged periods of time means that user-friendliness and safety are equally important, while precision is also necessary for a truly professional quality finish. Part of Efco’s impressive ‘Sharp-Pro’ range, the TG 2650 XP is a hedgetrimmer capable of offering all of these things and more, making it ideal for all commercial hedge-cutting applications.
The TG 2650 XP is powered by a hardworking 21.7cc EMAK two-stroke petrol engine and fitted with a digital coil and rev limiter to ensure constant engine efficiency at all speeds. Equipped with a traditional recoil pull starter system, the inclusion of a primer helps to ensure ease of operation and quick starting even on cold mornings. A similar quality of build is evident throughout the machine, especially in the shape of the professional grade aluminium gear case and drive linkage, which together guarantee a reassuringly long service life, quieter performance and minimal vibration. The compact but powerful two-stroke engine provides power for the TG 2650 XP’s potent 60cm reciprocating double-blade. Efco’s engineering excellence also comes into play here and the blades are made from sturdy tempered steel so are extremely strong and do not require sharpening, delivering exceptional results every time. Moreover, the clean cut provided by these impressive blades also heals more quickly, ensuring a pristine finish and a healthier garden in the process.
For convenience and protection while working, the TG 2650 XP is also fitted with a spring-assisted anti-vibration system absorbs engine vibration to ensure operator comfort. Along with the ergonomic design and low overall weight (only 5.6kg) of the machine, this makes the TG 2650 XP easier to handle and more precise. This ease of use is further improved by the inclusion of a clever rotating handle featuring 180° of swivel and five lockable positions, enabling efficient cutting in any operating position (even close to walls or when trimming the vertical sides of sculpted shrubs and hedges).
Tough, powerful, easy to use and reassuringly safe, Efco’s TG 2650 XP is thus perfect for the busy professional landscaper or gardener looking for a dependable machine for general hedge maintenance work, encompassing everything from light trimming and precise shaping to cutting back wildly overgrown shrubs and bushes.
