A set of easy to install dedicated digging tines which allow Honda’s FG201 compact mini-tiller to be used for breaking harder ground and working compacted soil

Honda’s compact FG201 mini-tiller packs quite a punch for its size, with a 49cc GXV50 four-stroke petrol engine providing more than enough power for the vast majority of routine soil maintenance jobs. When the going gets tough and the ground gets hard underfoot, however, you might need the extra clout provided by these dedicated digging tines.
Easy to install, the FG201’s digging tines come as a set of four sturdy cutter discs, each of which features ten individual blades which cut into dense soil and make challenging cultivation work much easier. The blades are also notable for being kinked at the ends (alternating inwards and outwards), which allows them to break up larger clumps of earth and dig in dense soil more effectively. These tines are therefore a fantastic way of instantly upgrading your FG201 for more demanding jobs, with a tilling width of 25cm offering a pleasing balance between precision and efficiency in small to medium-sized domestic gardens.
