A light, user-friendly hover mower, ideal for a small garden. Handles slopes and uneven surfaces which would be difficult for a wheeled mower. Electric motor for ease of use; folding handle for ease of storage.
The Flymo Easi Glide 300 is an ideal choice for those who would like the manoeuvrability of a hover mower without the inconvenience of having to rake up the grass clippings afterwards. As its name suggests, this hover mower floats on a cushion of air, enabling it to glide over rough or uneven surfaces on which a wheeled machine would struggle. A hover mower is also an ideal choice for sloped surfaces, and the Easi Glide is no exception; while it is not the lightest on the market, it is still light enough to be easily moved in all directions, whatever the strength or experience of the operator. The lightness of this machine also means that transporting it and storing it become effortless; it is easily light enough to be picked up and carried, and it can be stored in whatever space is convenient. Its sturdy handle also folds down to make storage even easier.
Everything about this machine has been designed to be simple and user-friendly. The Easi Glide arrives fully assembled, and its electric motor means you can simply plug it in and start mowing without having to buy or store petrol. Its sturdy metal blade will handle grass you might think too long or wet to be cut with a light mower, and prove far more durable than a flimsy plastic blade. The blade can also be easily adjusted to any of four cutting heights using the simple spacers provided. There is also a safety brake fitted which prevents the blade turning when the machine is not in use, giving you peace of mind as you transport and store your Easi-Glide. What makes this machine so much more user-friendly than lighter, cheaper hover mowers is the 20-litre grass collecting box, which not only collects the grass but compresses it for maximum uninterrupted mowing time. This does not, however, make the machine cumbersome or awkward; its 30 cm cutting width and compact size make it ideal for a small garden.

About FlymoInspired by the invention of Christopher Cockerell's hovercraft several years earlier, it was in 1964 that Karl Dahlman's hover mower design won a gold medal at the Brussels Inventors' Fair, thereby marking the beginning of one of the best known brands in British gardening. Full-scale production of petrol-powered Flymo hover mowers was in place by 1965, based in the new factory at Newton Aycliffe, County Durham. A few years later the first electric hover mowers were launched and a whole new world of mowing was available to the British public. Flymo hover mowers have been finding homes in British garden sheds ever since.
The Flymo hover mowers brand has gone from strength to strength since these early days and it is hard to imagine visiting a garden centre now and not seeing the bright orange machines lining the aisles, with tools varying from battery powered grass trimmers to electric garden vacuums. Now part of the Electrolux Group, Flymo can rightly claim to sell over one million products within the U.K. during a financial year. They also boast a considerable export market; in doing so they have received multiple Queen's Awards for their achievements.
