Hayter Osprey 46 610 – 3 in 1 Push Petrol Mower

  • Product Details

The new range of Hayter Osprey petrol lawnmowers have been specially designed for use on British lawns. Their 46cm cutting width is perfect for small to medium sized gardens and the premium design from well-known UK brand Hayter is one you can trust.

The Hayter Osprey 46 610 push model offers useful three in one functionality to allow you to cut in a variety of conditions and to tame grass of different lengths. Most often you will likely use the cut and collect function, for which there is a 55-litre grass collector which can be lifted through the handlebars easily and features a wide opening so it can be quickly emptied with minimal fuss. Pick from the mulching or rear discharge options if you want to avoid using the grass bag altogether. The mulching function finely chops the clippings so they can be redistributed into the lawn to help hold in moisture and lock in nutrients. Rear discharge is useful for longer grass, as it saves time on emptying collection bags. There are seven different cutting heights to choose from, from 25mm to 70mm to suit the time of year and your preferred grass length. These are controlled by a single lever on the side of the mower near the rear wheel for ultimate convenience.

This model is powered by a reliable 125cc Briggs & Stratton 450-E series engine, offering a high level of performance, reduced emissions, and low vibration. With a high-quality steel deck and smooth running ball bearings in the wheels, this mower is a very useful and great value addition to any shed. Long use is guaranteed thanks to Hayter’s 2-year warranty for domestic users (subject to an annual service from a registered Hayter dealer).

After use, simply attach a hose pipe to the Easy-Wash link up on the deck, and you can clean away clippings from the underside of your mower in no time at all. Cleaning your mower helps maintain an optimal performance level, as well as helps keep the grass clippings away from the inside of your shed. The handlebar can be folded, meaning that the Hayter Osprey 46 610 takes up very little space when not in use.

    About Hayter
The name Hayter, in garden machinery circles, goes back over 60 years to 1946 when Douglas Hayter produced his first rotary lawn mower and subsequently sold it to Ipswich Town the following year. Here, the Hayter lawnmower was born. From this point, the company has gone from strength to strength with an ever-increasing portfolio of lawn maintenance equipment that is used by both professionals and domestic gardeners. Uniquely, much of the Hayter lawnmower range is still British made, with a healthy workforce gainfully employed at the company headquarters in Spellbrook, near Bishop's Stortford in Hertfordshire.

With a Royal Warrant to protect, quality standards need to be kept at a premium and this is never more evident than with the Hayter Harrier range of rear roller rotary petrol lawnmowers that have set the standard for this type of machine for over 2 decades. The company has not forsaken traditional skills with the advent of computer-aided design, but has instead combined both, with the resultant Hayter lawnmower products some of the finest garden maintenance and grass care equipment available today.
