A set of dedicated digging tines for Honda’s FG110 micro-tiller featuring four ten-toothed discs which are slightly bent at the ends to help chop and remove compacted soil, thereby digging through even tough ground with pleasing efficiency.
For all the many virtues of Honda’s superb FG110 micro-tiller, when fitted with its standard tilling tines it is best suited to light cultivation work or ongoing soil management in flowerbeds and vegetable patches. Digging in harder ground may therefore prove taxing by comparison. Fear not, however, as when compacted soil puts the skids on your tilling you need only switch over to these sturdy digging tines and you will soon be tearing up the earth once more!
Easy to install thanks to Honda’s intuitive attachment mechanism, the digging tines come as a set of four ten-toothed discs which are slightly bent (alternating inwards and outwards) at the ends to help chop and remove compacted soil from the working area. The fact that the teeth on these tines are straight rather than curved like the standard FG110 tiller tines also helps, as they are stronger and thus more suitable for breaking hard ground and working in dense soil. With these hardwearing tines in reserve, then, you can take on just about any kind of soil cultivation work that your garden might throw your way.
• Dedicated digging tines for the FG110 micro-tiller which cut through compacted ground and refine soil by breaking up clumps of earth
• Set contains four ten-toothed discs which are slightly bent at the ends to help chop and remove compacted soil, digging through even tough ground with pleasing efficiency
• Suitable for use with Honda's FG110 micro-tiller when working on harder ground in smaller domestic gardens
About HondaA legendary brand know across the globe and synonymous with quality, the Honda marque traces its origins back to founder Soichiro Honda who marketed his own self-styled piston designs before World War II. From this beginning the Honda Motor Company was born in 1948 with the Honda Cub motorcycle following soon after. Today, the company is the single largest manufacturer of internal combustion engines in the world and it is this pedigree that goes into the development of Honda garden machinery.
Probably best known amongst gardening professionals for their large range of garden tillers and cultivators, Honda also produce some very fine petrol rotary lawn mowers, in particular their core range of domestic machines, known as the HRX models, that have rewritten modern lawn mower design. Not content with producing some of the best lawn mowers available, Honda have also turned the powered hand-tool sector upside-down by replacing traditional 2-stroke fuelled power units with the cleaner, quieter 4-stroke engines that the company is famous for. Never content with the present, Honda are certain to carry on developing their garden machinery products to stay at the cutting edge of design and performance.
