Product Description

Just as you’d be ill-advised to attempt intricate keyhole surgery using a medieval broadsword, it is very important to use the right tool for the job when taking on challenging soil cultivation work. Overworking soil can even contribute to compaction, so for the best possible results you need to match the attachment you use with your Honda rotary cultivator to the conditions underfoot and the task at hand. This is why Honda produces these two fine accessories for their heavy duty tillers, with the five-tine cultivator and rear rotary cultivator attachments each serving a vital role when preparing large areas of ground for seeding.

The five-tine cultivator (HUK ABF 3), for example, is compatible with Honda’s commercial grade F660 and F720 cultivators and offers a quick and efficient method of breaking hard, previously cultivated ground where full cultivation is not necessary. Easy to fit in place of your cultivator’s drag bar, the five-tine tiller uses its hardwearing blades to loosen and lift soil as you advance across the area being tilled, while the tines can also be quickly adjusted for weeding between rows of growing crops.

The rear rotary cultivator unit (HUK FM 66), meanwhile, is designed for use with the F720 and ideal for preparing large areas of soil for planting, with a high tool speed producing a very fine tilth. Supplied with a set of potent tiller blades and the adjustable cowling, the rear rotary cultivator attachment stirs and breaks down heavy soil to allow moisture, air and nutrients to penetrate the ground. It can also be used to mix in fertilisers and manure or for removing weeds from large vegetable patches and ground set aside for grass seeding, so smallholders, nursery workers and anyone engaged in growing on a commercial scale will definitely benefit from the extra versatility this tool provides.

Product Features

• Five-tine cultivator unit is perfect for breaking hard, previously cultivated ground where full cultivation is not necessary or weeding between rows of crops

• Rear rotary cultivator attachment offers a quick and efficient way of tilling large areas of soil, with a high tool speed producing a very fine tilth perfect for planting

• Five-tine cultivator (HUK ABF 3) is available for use with Honda's heavy duty F660 and F720 cultivators, while rear rotary cultivator (HUK FM 66) is compatible only with the F720

About Honda
A legendary brand know across the globe and synonymous with quality, the Honda marque traces its origins back to founder Soichiro Honda who marketed his own self-styled piston designs before World War II. From this beginning the Honda Motor Company was born in 1948 with the Honda Cub motorcycle following soon after. Today, the company is the single largest manufacturer of internal combustion engines in the world and it is this pedigree that goes into the development of Honda garden machinery.

Probably best known amongst gardening professionals for their large range of garden tillers and cultivators, Honda also produce some very fine petrol rotary lawn mowers, in particular their core range of domestic machines, known as the HRX models, that have rewritten modern lawn mower design. Not content with producing some of the best lawn mowers available, Honda have also turned the powered hand-tool sector upside-down by replacing traditional 2-stroke fuelled power units with the cleaner, quieter 4-stroke engines that the company is famous for. Never content with the present, Honda are certain to carry on developing their garden machinery products to stay at the cutting edge of design and performance.
