Potatoes! They’re small, starchy and their skins contain poison, but they’re delicious when fried so why wouldn’t you want to grow them? One reason for reticence might be the sheer effort involved in digging the darn things up once they’re ready, especially if you’re working on a smallholding or some other large plot of ground, but then that’s why Honda make this handy potato lifter attachment (HUK ABF 4) for use with their hardworking F510, F660 and F720 rotary cultivators.
A sturdy fishtail plough which fits quickly and easily to your Honda rotary cultivator, the potato lifter tool will save a lot of time and effort when harvesting large numbers of potatoes and other tubers. As the name suggests the tool simply lifts and unearths potatoes from the ground as you advance with your tiller, allowing them to be gathered at leisure once you are done. This provides exceptional convenience for anyone growing potatoes on a commercial scale, but if you’re hungry you just need to peel them, chop them up and pop them in the fryer instead (other preparation methods are available, but few are quite as tasty).
• A handy potato lifter tool which fits to your Honda rotary cultivator to offer a quick and efficient way of harvesting potatoes and tubers with almost zero effort
• Compatible with Honda’s hardworking F510, F660 and F720 rotary cultivators and ideal for use on smallholdings and other large growing plots
About HondaA legendary brand know across the globe and synonymous with quality, the Honda marque traces its origins back to founder Soichiro Honda who marketed his own self-styled piston designs before World War II. From this beginning the Honda Motor Company was born in 1948 with the Honda Cub motorcycle following soon after. Today, the company is the single largest manufacturer of internal combustion engines in the world and it is this pedigree that goes into the development of Honda garden machinery.
Probably best known amongst gardening professionals for their large range of garden tillers and cultivators, Honda also produce some very fine petrol rotary lawn mowers, in particular their core range of domestic machines, known as the HRX models, that have rewritten modern lawn mower design. Not content with producing some of the best lawn mowers available, Honda have also turned the powered hand-tool sector upside-down by replacing traditional 2-stroke fuelled power units with the cleaner, quieter 4-stroke engines that the company is famous for. Never content with the present, Honda are certain to carry on developing their garden machinery products to stay at the cutting edge of design and performance.
