Husqvarna’s grass trimmers are all superbly effective when trimming edges, borders and other hard to reach areas of lawn, simultaneously providing ease of use and an enviably pristine finish. The 128LDX, however, stops not at merely trimming grass. A powerful combination trimmer, the 128LDX can also be fitted with a wide range of accessories, offering truly fantastic versatility and providing an emphatic answer to almost any problem your garden might pose.
Designed for use in domestic settings, the 128LDX is built with a quiet and clean running 28cc E-Tech® II petrol engine which will allow you to work without getting on the wrong side of any noise-sensitive neighbours. Furthermore, thanks to an auto-return stop switch stop switch which automatically resets to the ‘ON’ position for trouble-free starting and Smart Start® technology which dramatically reduces the effort required to use the recoil start system, the 128LDX is pleasingly easy to use.
As standard, the 128LDX is supplied with a handy dual nylon line T25 trimmer head, built with a high torque bevel gear positioned parallel to the ground to ensure optimum performance. For added convenience and efficiency, meanwhile, this cutting head also features a supremely practical ‘Tap & Go’ line advancement system; simply tap the trimmer head against the ground and the cutting line is automatically advanced to the required length. This trimmer head will allow you to maintain edges and borders with ease, as well as cutting larger areas of long grass and nettles.
Thanks to a brilliant ‘click on’ attachment system, however, the 128LDX can also be equipped with a number of optional tools designed to make light work of a wide range of garden maintenance jobs, including soil cultivation, trimming and shaping hedges, and even pruning dense bushes and tree branches. Furthermore, with the addition of an optional J-handle and combi-guard, you can also use the 128LDX with a tough four-tooth grass blade designed for clearing larger areas of overgrown grass, weeds, brambles and scrub.
This superb level of versatility is complemented perfectly by the ergonomic features of the 128LDX, including a detachable shaft designed to aid storage and transportation and a comfortable loop handle, which combine to ensure that the 128LDX is simple and pleasant to operate, even over extended periods of time. Thus, Husqvarna’s impressive multi-tool is very much the proud gardener’

About HusqvarnaBelieve it or not, Husqvarna did not start off by manufacturing any type of garden machinery at all. Instead they were established in 1689 as a weapons foundry supplying the Swedish Armed Forces. During the subsequent years, diverse and varied products have been produced, from sewing machines and cast iron kitchen equipment through to bicycles and motorbikes. It wasn't until 1959 that Husqvarna finally made its first chainsaws and engine-driven lawnmowers. The company's reputation for build quality and durability of product has never been in question. This is probably the reason for their line of professional petrol chainsaws being so popular with forestry workers across the globe.
Husqvarna are not afraid to innovate either, introducing the robotic, solar powered Automower® in 1995 and continually looking to improve their existing products by listening to their customers. Jumping onto the grass recycling bandwagon, they also manufacture some of the best mulching lawnmowers available, incorporating Bioclip® technology into the vast majority of their petrol lawn mowers. Be left in no doubt, if you buy any product from the Husqvarna garden machinery stable, you will be buying into Swedish quality that is built to last.
