Like Superman (sort of), Husqvarna’s 129LK has a secret identity. On the surface, it appears to be just another of Husqvarna’s wide range of powerful but light and manoeuvrable grass trimmers. However, thanks to a user friendly, quick fit attachment system the 129LK is in fact a multi-tool capable of far more than any ordinary grass trimmer, with a wide range of optional attachments available to help you keep every aspect of your garden in good order.
With power supplied by an efficient and clean running 27.6cc E-Tech® II petrol engine, the 129LK is supplied as standard with a tough dual nylon line trimmer head for precision trimming of edges, borders and other hard to reach parts of your lawn. As well as a high torque bevel gear, positioned parallel to the ground to ensure optimal performance, this cutting system features clever ‘Tap & Go’ line feed, saving you time and effort by allowing you to advance the cutting line by simply tapping the head on the ground as you work. Moreover, with the addition of an optional J-handle kit and combi-guard, you can also use the 129LK with a tough metal grass blade, perfect for clearing areas of longer, thicker grass.
To get a fuller sense of the capabilities of the 129LK, however, we must look toward the wide range of optional attachments available. With the addition of a hedgetrimmer attachment, for example, the 129LK can be used for managing and shaping hedges and bushes, while the pruner attachment is a mini-chainsaw which will allow you to cut through branches and dense thicket with ease. There is even a powered tiller attachment, meaning that the 129LK can also be used for cultivating soil in flowerbeds and vegetable patches. Furthermore, all of these attachments are pleasingly easy to fit and use thanks to a convenient ‘click on’ system, designed to make switching between attachments quick and efficient.
As well as power and versatility, the 129LK also offers an impressive level of convenience. The engine, for example, benefits from the inclusion of a fuel pump and Smart Start® technology, both of which help ensure quick starting and ease of operation. A comfortable loop handle, meanwhile, provides the control required for precision cutting, and a detachable shaft helps to facilitate storage and transportation. All of this makes maintaining a great looking garden as hassle free as possible, and while the 129LK might not quite be Superman you can be assured that it will perform heroically whatever the job at hand.

About HusqvarnaBelieve it or not, Husqvarna did not start off by manufacturing any type of garden machinery at all. Instead they were established in 1689 as a weapons foundry supplying the Swedish Armed Forces. During the subsequent years, diverse and varied products have been produced, from sewing machines and cast iron kitchen equipment through to bicycles and motorbikes. It wasn't until 1959 that Husqvarna finally made its first chainsaws and engine-driven lawnmowers. The company's reputation for build quality and durability of product has never been in question. This is probably the reason for their line of professional petrol chainsaws being so popular with forestry workers across the globe.
Husqvarna are not afraid to innovate either, introducing the robotic, solar powered Automower® in 1995 and continually looking to improve their existing products by listening to their customers. Jumping onto the grass recycling bandwagon, they also manufacture some of the best mulching lawnmowers available, incorporating Bioclip® technology into the vast majority of their petrol lawn mowers. Be left in no doubt, if you buy any product from the Husqvarna garden machinery stable, you will be buying into Swedish quality that is built to last.
