A professional pole hedgetrimmer designed for shaping, thinning and trimming tall (or short) shrubs and hedges in a variety of settings, all while allowing you to keep both feet planted firmly (and safely) on the ground.
Tall hedgerows have long been a source of dispute between neighbours, so much so that there is an entire section of the Anti-Social Behaviour Act 2003 dedicated to “high hedges”. Legally speaking, a “high hedge” is one which is formed predominantly of evergreen shrubs or trees and which is at least two metres tall. This legislation is handy in that it provides an official channel via which one can complain if the neighbours’ hedgerows are growing out of control. But while I could never condone taking the law into one’s own hands it is worth noting that, if worse comes to worst, Husqvarna’s 325 HE3 pole hedgetrimmer provides a very quick and efficient method of cutting back any tall hedgerows, shrubs and bushes which might be getting in your way.
I jest, of course. The 325 HE3, rather than a tool for further stoking neighbourly strife, is a professional piece of equipment designed for shaping, thinning and trimming tall shrubs and hedges while allowing you to keep your feet planted firmly (and safely) on the ground. This is due to the 325 HE3’s powerful 55cm (22″) double-sided blade and a sturdy long-reach shaft. The extra reach this provides allows you to trim even the tallest hedgerows with ease, but with an easily adjusted cutter bar (featuring a 45°/85° up/down angle range) also be enables efficient trimming of low sections of hedge from a comfortable standing position. For added convenience, the cutting angle can even be adjusted remotely, allowing you to quickly switch from one working angle to another with the minimum of hassle.
Using the 325 HE3 is reassuringly simple, especially as the 25.4cc X-Torq two-stroke petrol engine has been positioned to work as a counterweight to the cutting gear for a pleasingly well-balanced design. This, along with the machine’s comfortable D-loop handle, makes the 325 HE3 remarkably easy to manoeuvre, thus ensuring a tidier finish and greater accuracy of cut. Additional convenient features include an auto-return stop switch which automatically returns to the ‘ON’ position after use, an easy-access all-in-one control array, and a clever Smart Start® system designed to reduce starter cord resistance by up to 40%. A high capacity 0.51 litre fuel tank, meanwhile, boosts productivity by reducing the number of times you will have to stop to refuel.
The 325 HE3 is also impressively tough, as you would expect of a Husqvarna machine. Designed to withstand the demands of heavy duty commercial use, this sturdily built machine features only the highest quality components and the teeth of the trimmer blade are specially hardened to help them maintain sharpness and deliver quality results time after time. All of which makes the 325 HE3 a great piece of kit whether you are a home gardener with tall hedgerows to maintain or a professional landscaper in need of a versatile machine suited to a wide range of trimming situations. Just try to avoid any horticultural vigilantism, no matter how tempting it might seem.

About HusqvarnaBelieve it or not, Husqvarna did not start off by manufacturing any type of garden machinery at all. Instead they were established in 1689 as a weapons foundry supplying the Swedish Armed Forces. During the subsequent years, diverse and varied products have been produced, from sewing machines and cast iron kitchen equipment through to bicycles and motorbikes. It wasn't until 1959 that Husqvarna finally made its first chainsaws and engine-driven lawnmowers. The company's reputation for build quality and durability of product has never been in question. This is probably the reason for their line of professional petrol chainsaws being so popular with forestry workers across the globe.
Husqvarna are not afraid to innovate either, introducing the robotic, solar powered Automower® in 1995 and continually looking to improve their existing products by listening to their customers. Jumping onto the grass recycling bandwagon, they also manufacture some of the best mulching lawnmowers available, incorporating Bioclip® technology into the vast majority of their petrol lawn mowers. Be left in no doubt, if you buy any product from the Husqvarna garden machinery stable, you will be buying into Swedish quality that is built to last.
