Husqvarnas 576XPG AT offers impressive cutting power and heated handles to help ensure complete control in cold conditions. Powered by a 73.5cc X-Torq petrol engine, the 576XPG AT is available with a 45cm, 50cm or 60cm guide bar and a 3/8″ pitch chain.
Alexandr Sokolov, winner of the gold medal at the World Logging Championship 2012 in Belarus and thus officially pretty good with a chainsaw, was more than happy to sing the praises of Husqvarna’s 576XP AT in the wake of his victory; “I have always used Husqvarna chainsaws,” he said, “I really like the performance of the 576 XP and I use it with great pleasure. It is more powerful and has higher turnover, which provides the additional speed needed for winning a championship.” Of course, this power and speed is also pretty handy for taking on tough forestry work, including felling large trees, de-limbing and log bucking, so the 576XP AT is also popular among professional chainsaw users worldwide. The 576XPG AT, however, is a potent rear handle forestry chainsaw which offers all of the impressive cutting power of the 576XP AT but with the additional advantage of having heated handles!
This might not seem like much of an improvement to those who haven’t spent long days outside in the cold and damp cutting with a powerful saw, but for those who have the benefits should be obvious. Nor is it simply a matter of comfort, as the heated handles also prevent hands from becoming numb and offer protection against hand-arm vibration syndrome, thus ensuring that you stay in complete control at all times. With the 576XPG AT also featuring a heated carburettor (in addition to Husqvarna’s clever Smart Start® system) to help ensure quick starting on cold mornings, this outstanding saw is therefore much safer and more convenient to use when taking on heavy duty cutting work.
Powered by a hardworking 73.5cc X-Torq® two-stroke petrol engine, featuring a design which optimises combustion for increased torque, enhanced fuel efficiency and lower emission levels, the 576XPG AT also stands out for featuring Husqvarna’s brilliant AutoTune system. This clever little device senses changes in the working/atmospheric conditions and automatically adjusts the engine performance accordingly. This includes factors such as the fuel mix, temperature, humidity and altitude at which you are working, so regardless of the job at hand you can rest assured of outstanding results. What’s more, with the 20% increase in fuel efficiency and a high capacity 0.7 litre fuel tank the 576XPG AT will allow you to work for longer without interruption than a comparable saw powered by a conventional two-stroke engine.
Available as standard with a 45cm (18”), 50cm (20”) or 60cm (24”) guide bar and a 3/8” pitch chain (please call or e-mail to specify the preferred bar/chain combination for your order), the 576XPG AT will power through even tough material with almost insouciant ease and therefore makes even the most challenging cutting work much simpler. To further ensure consistently professional quality performance the 576XPG AT also features an easy-access side-mounted chain tensioner, along with an adjustable oil pump to help regulate chain lubrication. An effective inertia-activated chain brake, meanwhile, offers vital protection against dangerous kickback events.
Surprisingly sleek, compact and well-balanced for such a powerful saw, the 576XPG AT has also been designed to be easy to handle and operate. The handles, for example, in addition to being heated feature an ergonomic design which ensures a steady, comfortable grip and exceptional control, while an innovative vibration cancelling LowVib® system is included to enhance comfort and prevent strain over extended periods of use. Equally handy are the centrifugal air cleaning system, snap-lock cylinder cover and quick-release air filter, which together reduce service requirements and facilitate routine maintenance. Moreover, with a forged three-piece crankshaft and a durable magnesium crankcase providing valuable protection against knocks, scrapes and general wear and tear the 576XPG AT can happily withstand the rigours of even the toughest commercial cutting work.
