Among those in the know, mulching is an increasingly popular way of dealing with grass clippings while mowing. Unlike traditional cut and collection lawnmowers, which require you to stop and dispose of clippings on a regular basis, or side or rear discharge mowers which simply eject clippings across your lawn, mulching allows for efficient, collection free mowing while also producing a tidy, even lawn surface.
Husqvarna’s BioClip® mulching plug allows for quick and simple conversion of your cut and collection mower for efficient mulching; simply use the plug to close the rear discharge aperture and your mower will cut clippings repeatedly until they are reduced to miniscule fragments. These particles are then blown down into the soil, whereupon vital nutrients and moisture are recycled to promote healthy grass growth while simultaneously leaving a pristine surface finish free from visible clippings.
