Even if you are only an occasional chainsaw user, the last thing you will want to do is wander into the forest with no trousers on. As such, Husqvarna’s Classic range of protective equipment includes these natty Classic Waist-Height Trousers to keep your lower-body comfortable, safe and covered when chopping firewood or indulging in light pruning, cutting or DIY work. Furthermore, as these trousers are specifically designed for use by chainsaw owners they are certified to offer Type A, Class 1 protection in accordance with the EN381-5 standard.
Type A, Class 1 protection means that these trousers can effectively guard against chain speeds of up to 20m/s across the front and partially to the left side of the leg, thus ensuring that you stay safe when taking on tough cutting work. Despite this impressive toughness, Husqvarna’s Classic Waist-Height Trousers are made from light, breathable material and feature an elasticated waist to ensure superb comfort at all times, with ventilation zippers at the back of the legs to help keep you cool in hot weather. Furthermore, with handy zip-up storage pockets (one on each side and one on the back), along with an additional ruler pocket, you will always be able to keep track of the various odds and ends you need with you while you work. Durable, flexible, lightweight and comfortable, Husqvarna’s Classic Waist-Height Trousers are therefore an essential bit of protective gear for any occasional chainsaw user, with five sizes available (ranging from 30”-46”) to ensure a perfect fit.

About HusqvarnaBelieve it or not, Husqvarna did not start off by manufacturing any type of garden machinery at all. Instead they were established in 1689 as a weapons foundry supplying the Swedish Armed Forces. During the subsequent years, diverse and varied products have been produced, from sewing machines and cast iron kitchen equipment through to bicycles and motorbikes. It wasn't until 1959 that Husqvarna finally made its first chainsaws and engine-driven lawnmowers. The company's reputation for build quality and durability of product has never been in question. This is probably the reason for their line of professional petrol chainsaws being so popular with forestry workers across the globe.
Husqvarna are not afraid to innovate either, introducing the robotic, solar powered Automower® in 1995 and continually looking to improve their existing products by listening to their customers. Jumping onto the grass recycling bandwagon, they also manufacture some of the best mulching lawnmowers available, incorporating Bioclip® technology into the vast majority of their petrol lawn mowers. Be left in no doubt, if you buy any product from the Husqvarna garden machinery stable, you will be buying into Swedish quality that is built to last.
