Looking out at your lawn? Noticing that the grass is growing at a worryingly rapid rate, but loathing the thought of having to push that massive walk behind mower around the entire garden again? Then it’s a shame you’re only reading this now, because the solution to your gardening quandaries has been sitting here waiting for you in the form of one of Husqvarna’s compact but powerful garden tractors. The CT 126 is the most compact tractor produced by Husqvarna, making it perfect for quick and efficient mowing in smaller or more complicated gardens and placing you in control of a piece of surprisingly mighty mowing machinery to make keeping your lawn in order an effortless and enjoyable task.

Built with a tough steel chassis and a corrosion resistant cutting deck with a 77cm cutting width and manual blade engagement, the CT 126 also features an innovative air induction system to improve airflow in the cutting deck; this helps lift blades of grass and thus improves the quality of cut achieved, helping to ensure a pristine finish. For even greater precision, the CT 126 also features centralised six step height of cut adjustment (38mm-102mm), controlled via an easily accessible spring assisted lever system. Collection, meanwhile, is handled via an impressively large 200 litre grass collector featuring a capacity indicator to let you know when it is full. The collector can even be emptied quickly and efficiently from the comfort of the driver’s seat, so convenience is assured.

Powered by an efficient 344cc Briggs & Stratton PowerBuilt AVS petrol engine, the CT 126 also features a six speed manual gearbox to allow you to set the tractor to a steady speed according to the mowing conditions at hand. This extra level of control, along with the mower’s compact design, pivoting front axle and dual draglink steering, means that the CT 126 is a superbly agile and manoeuvrable machine perfect for mowing around borders, obstacles and edges on complicated lawns. For added safety, the CT 126’s reverse operating system automatically disengages the mower’s cutting blade when you reverse, while a cut-off switch under the driver’s seat is primed to sense if you dismount without having first turned off the engine.

An excellent choice for anyone looking to enter the wonderful (and pleasingly comfortable, thanks to an ergonomically designed adjustable driver’s seat) world of ride-on mowers, Husqvarna’s CT 126 is a tough garden tractor ideal for smaller gardens where agility is an indispensible virtue.

About Husqvarna
Believe it or not, Husqvarna did not start off by manufacturing any type of garden machinery at all. Instead they were established in 1689 as a weapons foundry supplying the Swedish Armed Forces. During the subsequent years, diverse and varied products have been produced, from sewing machines and cast iron kitchen equipment through to bicycles and motorbikes. It wasn't until 1959 that Husqvarna finally made its first chainsaws and engine-driven lawnmowers. The company's reputation for build quality and durability of product has never been in question. This is probably the reason for their line of professional petrol chainsaws being so popular with forestry workers across the globe.

Husqvarna are not afraid to innovate either, introducing the robotic, solar powered Automower® in 1995 and continually looking to improve their existing products by listening to their customers. Jumping onto the grass recycling bandwagon, they also manufacture some of the best mulching lawnmowers available, incorporating Bioclip® technology into the vast majority of their petrol lawn mowers. Be left in no doubt, if you buy any product from the Husqvarna garden machinery stable, you will be buying into Swedish quality that is built to last.
