Husqvarnas Functional 28 Protective Boots are designed for prolonged periods of work in tough conditions, ideal for professional arborists and foresters. Handmade using durable materials, with an extra reinforced upper section and steel toe caps.
Husqvarna’s Functional 28 Protective Boots are proper working boots for hardworking foresters and arborists hard at work with their hardworking chainsaws. As such they are designed specifically to withstand the rigours of heavy duty cutting work, keeping your feet reassuringly safe and offering industry approved protection against chain speeds of up to 28m/s. Anyone faced with long days of difficult cutting work, then, needs a pair of boots like this. Of course, with boots this tough you might also want to wear them around the house if you’re prone to stubbing your toes. But mostly they’re for working.
Handmade using only high quality materials, the Functional 28 Protective Boots feature thick soles with a reinforced upper section and steel to caps for exceptional durability and to keep guard against injury. This sturdiness means that the boots are certified to offer Class 3 protection in compliance with the EN345 standard, making them suitable for even the toughest commercial cutting work. In addition to offering vital protection, however, these boots are also pleasingly comfortable and convenient. Their ergonomic design is particularly noteworthy, with deep lacing at the back and ridges on the leg, plus a new heel cap, making it significantly easier to put on and take off the boots. Moreover, for added grip on uneven or slippery surfaces Husqvarna’s Functional 28 Protective Boots can also be fitted with studs (available separately), while with eleven sizes available (UK sizes 4-12) you can rest assured of finding a perfect fit.

About HusqvarnaBelieve it or not, Husqvarna did not start off by manufacturing any type of garden machinery at all. Instead they were established in 1689 as a weapons foundry supplying the Swedish Armed Forces. During the subsequent years, diverse and varied products have been produced, from sewing machines and cast iron kitchen equipment through to bicycles and motorbikes. It wasn't until 1959 that Husqvarna finally made its first chainsaws and engine-driven lawnmowers. The company's reputation for build quality and durability of product has never been in question. This is probably the reason for their line of professional petrol chainsaws being so popular with forestry workers across the globe.
Husqvarna are not afraid to innovate either, introducing the robotic, solar powered Automower® in 1995 and continually looking to improve their existing products by listening to their customers. Jumping onto the grass recycling bandwagon, they also manufacture some of the best mulching lawnmowers available, incorporating Bioclip® technology into the vast majority of their petrol lawn mowers. Be left in no doubt, if you buy any product from the Husqvarna garden machinery stable, you will be buying into Swedish quality that is built to last.
