Husqvarna Garden Tractor Snow Blade

  • Product Details

When snow threatens to fall, it is a great comfort to know that you need not let the inclement weather hold you back. With the addition of one of these tough snow blades, your Husqvarna rider mower or garden tractor can be quickly converted into a snow plough to make light work of clearing unwanted snow from driveways, paths and roads where it might otherwise be a hazard.

Husqvarna produce a number of snow blades in different sizes, designed for use with different ride-on mowers. For front rider mowers from the 200 and 300 series ranges, Husqvarna produce rugged, steel edged snow blades with working widths between 107cm and 120cm and either three of five position working angle adjustment depending on the model you are using (counterweight and snow chains required for rear wheel drive mowers).

For the larger front mowers from the 400 series and the P524, a similar but even tougher steel blade is available with a working width of up to 125cm and five position working angle adjustment of up to 27º in either direction (wheel weights and snow chains required for rear wheel drive models). Furthermore, for premium 500 series front rider mowers a commercial grade steel snow blade with a reversible steel wear bar and two skid plates is available, featuring a maximum 130cm working width, stepless hydraulic angle adjustment and twelve step height variation (requires hydraulics kit and should be used with counterweight).

Finally, for Husqvarna’s lawn tractors (excluding the 216 series) a sturdy and efficient snow blade with a working width of up to 122cm and five position angle adjustment is available, perfect for clearing unwanted snow from drives and pathways (must be used with snow chains and a counterweight kit).

    About Husqvarna
Believe it or not, Husqvarna did not start off by manufacturing any type of garden machinery at all. Instead they were established in 1689 as a weapons foundry supplying the Swedish Armed Forces. During the subsequent years, diverse and varied products have been produced, from sewing machines and cast iron kitchen equipment through to bicycles and motorbikes. It wasn't until 1959 that Husqvarna finally made its first chainsaws and engine-driven lawnmowers. The company's reputation for build quality and durability of product has never been in question. This is probably the reason for their line of professional petrol chainsaws being so popular with forestry workers across the globe.

Husqvarna are not afraid to innovate either, introducing the robotic, solar powered Automower® in 1995 and continually looking to improve their existing products by listening to their customers. Jumping onto the grass recycling bandwagon, they also manufacture some of the best mulching lawnmowers available, incorporating Bioclip® technology into the vast majority of their petrol lawn mowers. Be left in no doubt, if you buy any product from the Husqvarna garden machinery stable, you will be buying into Swedish quality that is built to last.
