This impressive drop spreader tows behind your Husqvarnas ride-on lawnmower and utilises an electrically operated feeder roller to ensure uniform spreading of a wide range of materials over a width of one metre.

Product Description

When seeking to spread materials over a large area, whether seeds, fertiliser or sand (or even salt, if you are trying to thaw dangerously icy roads and paths), any attempt to do so by hand would be inefficient to the point of being folly. And although a standard spreader may do the job for smaller domestic jobs, for commercial work over very large areas you need a far more serious piece of machinery.

That’s where Husqvarna’s impressive drop spreader comes in. Designed with a heavy duty build able to stand up to the demands of professional use, this tough drop spreader tows behind your Husqvarna’s ride-on lawnmower and utilises an electrically operated feeder roller to ensure uniform spreading over a width of one metre. Suitable for use with a wide range of materials with a particle size of up to 30mm, the spreader unit also features a protective hopper grille which can be used as a screen while filling.

Product Features

• Tough drop spreader hitches to the rear of your Husqvarna ride-on mower to enable large-scale spreading of a wide range of materials including seeds, fertiliser and gravel

• Featuring a one metre working width and a maximum load capacity of 200kg

• Wheel weights and snow chains available separately for use in icy conditions

• Available for all Husqvarna rider mowers and garden tractors

About Husqvarna
Believe it or not, Husqvarna did not start off by manufacturing any type of garden machinery at all. Instead they were established in 1689 as a weapons foundry supplying the Swedish Armed Forces. During the subsequent years, diverse and varied products have been produced, from sewing machines and cast iron kitchen equipment through to bicycles and motorbikes. It wasn't until 1959 that Husqvarna finally made its first chainsaws and engine-driven lawnmowers. The company's reputation for build quality and durability of product has never been in question. This is probably the reason for their line of professional petrol chainsaws being so popular with forestry workers across the globe.

Husqvarna are not afraid to innovate either, introducing the robotic, solar powered Automower® in 1995 and continually looking to improve their existing products by listening to their customers. Jumping onto the grass recycling bandwagon, they also manufacture some of the best mulching lawnmowers available, incorporating Bioclip® technology into the vast majority of their petrol lawn mowers. Be left in no doubt, if you buy any product from the Husqvarna garden machinery stable, you will be buying into Swedish quality that is built to last.
