Husqvarna LC 247 Push Petrol Lawnmower

  • Product Details

Designed for the demanding home owner, the Husqvarna petrol 200 series of lawn mowers feature lightweight and durable composite decks, with excellent collection performance, easy manoeuvrability and reliable Briggs & Stratton engines. The Husqvarna LC 247 petrol lawn mower is the most basic model in the range, but offers a number of impressive features as well as a thoroughly affordable price tag.

The Husqvarna LC 247 is a push model, and weighing in at just 26.8 kg, it’s very easy to move around your garden. Designed for medium to large gardens, you’ll find the lightweight mower thoroughly manoeuvrable. With a 47cm cutting deck, the balance between the deck being large enough for a quick cut, and small enough that you can work around obstacles is just right. The 55 litre grass bag features a dust blocker which prevents the dust blowing into the operator’s face during use. For an even quicker cut, remove the grass bag for rear discharge, or a BioClip kit is available as an accessory (589214801).

For convenient storage, the handle bars can be folded down and the grass box removed from the mower. The ergonomic handle bars are adjustable to best suit the operator’s height, while the height of cut adjustment is well balanced with a one handed grip for ease of use. Change between six heights of cut between 20mm and 75mm.

Looking for a propelled model, or one with an auto-choke? Take a look at the step-up LC 247S with single speed self-propulsion or LC 247SP with single speed propulsion and auto-choke for easier starting.

    About Husqvarna
Believe it or not, Husqvarna did not start off by manufacturing any type of garden machinery at all. Instead they were established in 1689 as a weapons foundry supplying the Swedish Armed Forces. During the subsequent years, diverse and varied products have been produced, from sewing machines and cast iron kitchen equipment through to bicycles and motorbikes. It wasn't until 1959 that Husqvarna finally made its first chainsaws and engine-driven lawnmowers. The company's reputation for build quality and durability of product has never been in question. This is probably the reason for their line of professional petrol chainsaws being so popular with forestry workers across the globe.

Husqvarna are not afraid to innovate either, introducing the robotic, solar powered Automower® in 1995 and continually looking to improve their existing products by listening to their customers. Jumping onto the grass recycling bandwagon, they also manufacture some of the best mulching lawnmowers available, incorporating Bioclip® technology into the vast majority of their petrol lawn mowers. Be left in no doubt, if you buy any product from the Husqvarna garden machinery stable, you will be buying into Swedish quality that is built to last.
