A garden is a wonderful luxury in life; somewhere familiar to go to relax, enjoy the outdoors and spend time with your friends and family. It is important, therefore, to take good care of your garden so that it remains somewhere you want to spend time. And while keeping a lawn in good condition can be hard work, it doesn’t have to be. The entry level model in Husqvarna’s excellent 200 series of front rider mowers, the R 213C is a tough but agile ride-on lawnmower perfect for use in either formal or informal gardens and ideal for anyone who needs a quick and efficient way of managing a decent sized lawn.
Perhaps the greatest virtue of the R 213C is its powerful 94cm combi cutting deck, featuring a tough steel build and a front mounted design to allow for easy access to hard to reach parts of lawn, such as tight corners and under bushes. For added convenience this deck also benefits from electronic blade engagement, which activates the cutting blades automatically when you lower the cutting deck, and lever operated, ten-step height of cut adjustment for valuable precision and a pristine finish.
To ensure outstanding results regardless of the condition of your lawn, the R 213C also features two distinct cutting modes: BioClip® grass mulching and efficient rear ejection. With the mulching mode, grass-clippings are cut and re-cut inside the cutting deck before being ejected deep into the base of your lawn. Here, the miniscule cuttings break down to recycle valuable moisture and nutrients, leaving a tidy finish and fertilising your lawn naturally as you mow. However, by simply removing the cutting deck’s back plate you can also activate a supremely efficient rear ejection mode, perfect for cutting grass which would otherwise be too long and rough to handle.
Powered by an industrious 344cc Briggs & Stratton Intek petrol engine, the R 213C also features fully hydrostatic transmission for infinitely variable speed control up to a maximum of 9.0km/h. This simple, pedal operated system combines with the R 213C’s articulated steering, large rear wheels and pivoting rear axle to help ensure the traction, stability and maneouvrability required to ensure smooth operation and a comfortable mowing experience.
Moreover, to help make the R 213C as easy as possible to use and maintain it is built with easily accessible controls and service points, while a transparent window in the twelve litre fuel tank and an external fuel cap make managing refuelling equally simple. With this level of convenience to make maintaining your lawn as hassle free as possible, the R 213C will make mowing a relaxing and rewarding experience (though perhaps not quite as much as relaxing and luxuriating in a beautifully mown garden afterwards).

• Easy to use ten-position height of cut adjustment (25mm-75mm) and automatic blade engagement help ensure precision and convenience

About HusqvarnaBelieve it or not, Husqvarna did not start off by manufacturing any type of garden machinery at all. Instead they were established in 1689 as a weapons foundry supplying the Swedish Armed Forces. During the subsequent years, diverse and varied products have been produced, from sewing machines and cast iron kitchen equipment through to bicycles and motorbikes. It wasn't until 1959 that Husqvarna finally made its first chainsaws and engine-driven lawnmowers. The company's reputation for build quality and durability of product has never been in question. This is probably the reason for their line of professional petrol chainsaws being so popular with forestry workers across the globe.
Husqvarna are not afraid to innovate either, introducing the robotic, solar powered Automower® in 1995 and continually looking to improve their existing products by listening to their customers. Jumping onto the grass recycling bandwagon, they also manufacture some of the best mulching lawnmowers available, incorporating Bioclip® technology into the vast majority of their petrol lawn mowers. Be left in no doubt, if you buy any product from the Husqvarna garden machinery stable, you will be buying into Swedish quality that is built to last.
