Please note: delivery is only available within a 50 mile radius of our Ipswich and Norwich depots for all ride on lawnmowers.
While Husqvarna’s rider mowers are all admirably powerful, when mowing on undulating lawns, verges or soft, slippery ground a little something extra can make all the difference. In this case, that “something extra” is the R 320 AWD’s powerful all-wheel drive system. Also ideal for use in larger gardens, the extra traction provided by the all-wheel drive complements the R 320 AWD’s in-built strength and cutting power to make it perfect for handling even the roughest mowing conditions.
Driven by an efficient 500cc Briggs & Stratton Endurance Series petrol engine, designed exclusively for Husqvarna, the infinitely fine speed variation offered by the R 320 AWD’s pedal operated hydrostatic drive system further enhances the control this machine provides. This, the all-wheel drive system and Husqvarna’s unique articulated steering combine to make sure that the R 320 AWD is always easy to handle, even when navigating complex areas replete with trees, complicated borders and other obstacles.
The R 320 AWD also features a handy attachment frame, allowing the mower to be used with a wide range of optional front mounted accessories (including snow thrower, flail mower and powered broom). The R 320 AWD can also be fitted with one of Husqvarna’s combi cutting decks (94cm, 103cm and 112cm decks available). These combi decks are notable for their versatility, offering two distinct cutting modes: BioClip® grass mulching and efficient rear ejection. Mulching involves reducing grass cuttings to tiny particles which are then blown deep into the base of the soil to act as a natural fertiliser, leaving a tidy finishing and encouraging healthy lawn growth. Moreover, by simply removing the deck’s back plate the R 320 AWD can also be used as an efficient rear ejection mower, perfect for clearing areas of rougher, longer grass.
Both modes also benefit from a number of other elements of the cutting deck’s design. By positioning the deck at the front of the mower, for example, Husqvarna make it much simpler to cut grass in otherwise hard to reach parts of your garden. The deck is also built to protect your lawn, with a floating design and pivoting support wheels helping to prevent scalping and surface damage. Automatic blade engagement and easy to use, ten-position height of cut adjustment (25mm-75mm), meanwhile, enhance convenience and precision to make achieving a pristine finish even simpler.
The R 320 AWD is also commendably tough, with a reinforced steel frame for added durability and easy access service points to facilitate routine maintenance and cleaning. Even the fuel tank shows signs of the thought put into the design of this impressive machine, with an external fuel cap and transparent fuel-level window to make managing refuelling easier. With a high visibility seating position and handy storage compartment also included, the R 320 AWD is just as convenient to use as it is effective.

About HusqvarnaBelieve it or not, Husqvarna did not start off by manufacturing any type of garden machinery at all. Instead they were established in 1689 as a weapons foundry supplying the Swedish Armed Forces. During the subsequent years, diverse and varied products have been produced, from sewing machines and cast iron kitchen equipment through to bicycles and motorbikes. It wasn't until 1959 that Husqvarna finally made its first chainsaws and engine-driven lawnmowers. The company's reputation for build quality and durability of product has never been in question. This is probably the reason for their line of professional petrol chainsaws being so popular with forestry workers across the globe.
Husqvarna are not afraid to innovate either, introducing the robotic, solar powered Automower® in 1995 and continually looking to improve their existing products by listening to their customers. Jumping onto the grass recycling bandwagon, they also manufacture some of the best mulching lawnmowers available, incorporating Bioclip® technology into the vast majority of their petrol lawn mowers. Be left in no doubt, if you buy any product from the Husqvarna garden machinery stable, you will be buying into Swedish quality that is built to last.
