From Husqvarna comes the self-propelled rear wheel drive R52S, offering a generous 53cm cutting width and powered by a strong Briggs & Stratton engine. This mower is ideal for those with medium to large gardens, while also able to deal with areas of rougher ground such as orchards. It is also highly flexible, with three methods of grass disposal offered by the machine’s TrioClip feature, including cut and collection, side discharge, and mulching, as well as featuring a wide range of cutting heights.
Propulsion comes from the mower’s strong and easy-to-start 675 Series Briggs & Stratton engine, providing an impressive ground speed of 3.9km/h and offering optimal cutting performance. Alongside this cutting power, double ball bearing wheels ensure smooth-running and excellent durability. The inclusion of an adjustable handlebar with easy access controls allows you to find the most comfortable position for you during operation, and comfortable grip provides for an enhanced mowing experience. Meanwhile, the height-of-cut can be quickly and easily adjusted via a single lever, allowing you to select from seven different height options between 27mm and 95mm, making the mower capable of handling a wide variety of cutting conditions.
Versatility is also on display when it comes to the cutting techniques offered by the R52S. For the cut and collection option, a huge 75 litre capacity fabric grass collector is attached, its size making sure that you don’t have to stop and empty it very often. The side discharge option is useful for when the grass is longer and more difficult to cut, as it ejects the grass back out of the machine to stop the system from getting clogged up; it is also handy when you’re cutting alongside the edges of ditches or flowerbeds. Finally, the mulching option involves the grass being cut and re-cut before being redistributed back onto the ground. It then acts as a natural fertilizer as it breaks down, promoting the growth of healthy green grass. Weight: 44.9 Kg

About Husqvarna
Believe it or not, Husqvarna did not start off by manufacturing any type of garden machinery at all. Instead they were established in 1689 as a weapons foundry supplying the Swedish Armed Forces. During the subsequent years, diverse and varied products have been produced, from sewing machines and cast iron kitchen equipment through to bicycles and motorbikes. It wasn't until 1959 that Husqvarna finally made its first chainsaws and engine-driven lawnmowers. The company's reputation for build quality and durability of product has never been in question. This is probably the reason for their line of professional petrol chainsaws being so popular with forestry workers across the globe.

Husqvarna are not afraid to innovate either, introducing the robotic, solar powered Automower® in 1995 and continually looking to improve their existing products by listening to their customers. Jumping onto the grass recycling bandwagon, they also manufacture some of the best mulching lawnmowers available, incorporating Bioclip® technology into the vast majority of their petrol lawn mowers. Be left in no doubt, if you buy any product from the Husqvarna garden machinery stable, you will be buying into Swedish quality that is built to last.
